![This is the location of AT&T's "Pole Farm". In the early 1900's AT&T had their scientist's search out coordinates for the optimum area to send radio wave signals for telephone usage. After extensive research they chose this spot in my area for the construction of hundreds of telephone poles erected in a diamond shape pattern. 
         There was one pole per country and it was pointed toward that country, predominantly in Europe and the Caribbean. So, in the early 1940's, for example, when president Franklin Roosevelt wanted to discuss WW2 war strategy with Winston Churchill in London, their telephone signals would meet at this spot.
       There is only one pole that remains standing and it is believed to be pointed toward Tel Aviv, Israel.

« My husband and I added a few days onto a trip we were making for a wedding and Galvanized America Inn and Art Gallery elevated this trip to a genuine vacation. The property is beautiful (so nice it's literally used for weddings), the breakfasts were great, and the room and first floor was cute (americana!), clean, and well-maintained. What was honestly the best thing about the property were the hosts. Both were incredibly kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. They gave us a map and pamphlet about...

![This is the location of AT&T's "Pole Farm". In the early 1900's AT&T had their scientist's search out coordinates for the optimum area to send radio wave signals for telephone usage. After extensive research they chose this spot in my area for the construction of hundreds of telephone poles erected in a diamond shape pattern. 
         There was one pole per country and it was pointed toward that country, predominantly in Europe and the Caribbean. So, in the early 1940's, for example, when president Franklin Roosevelt wanted to discuss WW2 war strategy with Winston Churchill in London, their telephone signals would meet at this spot.
       There is only one pole that remains standing and it is believed to be pointed toward Tel Aviv, Israel.

"Personnel exceptionnel, l’accueil était fabuleux. Le restaurant Laurea dans ´l’hôtel est très bon. Petit bémol pour la clim qui se déclenche et toutes les 30 ou 40 mns la nuit et la lumière du couloir qui est restée allumée toute la nuit.."
