"OK hotel if price is low"
The hotel had a great location, but when I got my room, it was older and smell like smoke really bad. The bathroom and beds were also outdated I didn't have much interaction with the staff. so I can't give much feedback about that.

"Comfortable hotel, not really 4 or 5 star."
Here for a conference, so staying at the hotel made sense. The resturant in the hotel is nothing special, neither is the hotel bar. It has been impossible to find a decent dry martini! Breakfast was buffet style and actually good, although expensive if it is not included with your stay. Internet connection is dismal, but this is more likely just the fact that you are in mainland China rather than a responsibility of the hotel.

"Wow in Beijing"
I was staying in Beijing for the first time and didn't know what to expect in a room. What I got was a great value. Super service, great amenities and clean as a whistle. The room was comfortable with a great bed and comforter. The views from the street side were wonderful. From my 12th floor room I could see the tops of the gate to the Forbidden City and the mountains out to the west of the city. Down below and across from the hotel is a pretty little park and an athletic facility where the kids play basketball and soccer. Support is excellent. Ada, a staff member in the business office went to extraordinary lengths to make sure I got my Hong Kong from Guangzhou ticket in the mail before I checked out. You can not get they type of service anywhere today. In addition to the helpful staff, the location turned out to be great for me. I like to walk, and it was nothing for me to walk to a majority of major attractions in the city. The ones I couldn't walk too, I could take one of the two metro lines within 200 meters. I had one tour to the Great Wall that I had to arrange transportation. This hotel is well suited to business travelers, the room has a comfortable desk area and each morning I'd make myself a cup of coffee and take care of correspondence. I extended my original reservation two times for a total of weeks because there is a lot of see and I was comfortable

"Needs better internet"
I like this hotel, which is very professional and well-managed. But the internet was so slow I had to leave a day early. Beijing Internet is already bad but this was impossible.

"Great breakfast and views"
We had a great stay, the hotel was very nice and clean. It was a little far from the centre, but very close to the subway. The breakfast was excellent and on the last day, when we left at 5:45am they prepared a wonderful packed breakfast for me and my children.

"Reasonably priced, comfortable stay close to Metro"
We stayed at the Sunworld hotel in December. The hotel was comfortable, our room had a nice view, and was with 5 minutes walk of the Metro. The towels were fluffy, bedding was crispy white and mattresses were firm. During our stay Beijing had some of the highest levels of pollution so the air purification unit in the room was a welcome sight; it was quiet enough to run on low power through the night. I am a light sleeper and didn't have any problems with the noise level during our five day stay. It was a pleasant surprise to receive a small complimentary box of cookies on Dec 24. We stayed at different hotels while visiting China. All of the hotels provided 2 complimentary bottles of drinking water daily and had minibars in addition. Room service had decent food, but 2 out of 4 times my order was incorrect. I did my best to speak slowly and clearly, but found staff attending room service were not fluent in English. The Sunworld had coffee mugs and spoons in a draw. We decided to purchase fruit, cereal and fresh milk from WuMart and were able to store the milk in the fridge. Although Tiananmen Square & the Forbidden City were reportedly within 20 minutes walk we took the Metro. The number 111 bus went to the Panda House. A convenient shuttle bus ran every hour to the airport and was within a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. The ride took about 50 minutes and cost 24 Yuan per person. I would stay here again.
