"Beautiful property in picturesque mountain setting! The owners were extremely kind, welcoming and attentive. The rooms were very clean, well decorated, and afforded unparalleled mountain views. "This hotel is in a perfect location directly on the sea shore. That is only good thing I can say. We arrived at 14.30 and had to wait 15 minutes for someone to arrive on reception to be told the room was not ready and to go away for an hour.
When we returned we were showed our room on the ground floor which we booked as a family room with a sea view and it looked at the carpark. There were 2 twin beds pushed together and no extra beds in the room. The mattresses were as hard as boards and very...

"The location of the hotel is great. It is close to restaurants, shops and the beach. The biggest problem however, was that the hotel was poorly staffed. One person was expected to cook, serve, make coffees for all the guests. By the time a coffee was ready the meal was finished. This wasn't the fault of the employee but rather of how they managed their personnel. We had to ask for amenities such as soap, towels, an iron on a regular basis. Our room was not cleaned daily and there were...

"Une chambre trop petite. Je ne dis rien sur la salle de bain. La situation de l’hotel est idéale pour visiter Mystras mais le confort des chambres est limite. Le personnel est attentif. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la piscine et la vie de village autour de l’hôtel."

15. Elafos Spa Hotel
Elafos Spa HotelGortynia
6.0 out of 10, (1 review)
"The website offers a country spa hotel. Spa was a small jacuzzi ina dingy underground space. Just the owner came down from Athens, website showing constant availability does not reflect clientele (we were only guests) also no outside space, or garden with sun loungers etc one would expect for double the price of any other places nearby. Also many reviews giving top ratings is suspicious! More a guest house, no restaurant, just a very basic taverna in the village, no information or maps on the...
