"Go with zero expectations. Breakfast was so-so - scrambled eggs, sausage and grits. A few bananas, but no grab-and-go items like apples, muffins, etc. You need a raffle ticket from the front desk. Our toilet flushed poorly, the tub was very slippery and the grab bar in the tub was coming out of the wall (screws exposed). We ran out of toilet paper the first day as they only gave us 1 small roll plus the remaining amount on the spool. After our first night, they knocked on our door and said they had to moves us up to the 4th floor. The saving grace - the beds were super comfortable and they had black-out curtains plus a wall AC unit that produced a nice air flow and white noise. We really just needed a place to crash, but it was honestly really terrible and in a sketchy area (we were warned several times by our Uber drivers not to go out after dark or hang around the hotel)."

"This hotel is very clean. The bed was too hard for me, but I travel with a bed topper because I find most hotel beds are not soft enough for me. I will say the whole hotel is clean and comfortable the front desk staff is very helpful and kind. This was an emergency trip to UAB Hospital and we needed to be close to the hospital. "

"I went to my room and opened the door to find garbage in bags everywhere. A used towel was drying on a chair, beds were not made - so the room was not even cleaned. I went back to get a different room and my new room did not even have the beds made. The third room finally worked but the showerhead was broken and was spraying water. I had to put a washcloth on it just to keep the spray down. Breakfast had no cream cheese for the bagels they had, and eggs were the only warm-food option. No sausage, no potatoes. Just two things of eggs."

"Breakfast is good. Both waffles & pancakes available. Coffee machine with a plethora of brew styles as weel as carafes for a quick cup. Family run, everyone was pleasant to interact with."

"I’m not sure if the reviews were made up but this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Everything was so gross. We had mold in our bathroom and bugs in the room. Breakfast was horrible and made us sick. The entire hotel smelled like weed and it was not appropriate for our children. Do not recommend. "

"One of the best experiences that I’ve had with a hotel, they let us check in early after I had surgery. It was extremely modern clean and professional people were so gracious and nice even at the breakfast morning before we left. If I can give them 20 stars I would your front office Staff the gentleman working the breakfast the cleanliness everything was top-notch thank you so much and if I go to Birmingham, you’re my first choice. ! What a wonderful crew you have."
