"Nice charming hotel with bad internet connection"
I booked this hotel for a week hoping to get some work done while I was attending a conference. The place is nice but their internet service was a huge let down. The connection was patchy and I had to make several calls to the front desk to get it fixed (which was never fixed). The rooms were generally dark (low lighting) and lamps by the bedside didn't work. The staff at the desk didn't care even when i called them several times to get it fixed. I was told that it will be fixed by the evening but it was never fixed during my entire 7 day stay! The shower had only half door (strange) and i had to deal with flooded toilet area each time i took a shower.

"A good located hotel, close to the main places."
I had a good experience in this hotel. The front man was rude, but in general people from Buenos Aires are impolite, so maybe this guy is just a normal citizen of Buenos Aires. But in general, I would recommend this hotel, good price and location, close to the main touristic points in the city.

"Friendly, convenient, near AEP"
Late night arrival, really AM departure, so I couldn't make use of the small kitchenette or rate the breakfast. Hits all the essentials though: good shower pressure, comfy bed, powerful AC. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful and speaks English. Helped this tired traveler ensure I got my taxi on time and to the right BA airport! Thanks, guys!

"Great value, great neighborhood"
This convent converted to BandB was clean for the most part, quiet for the most part (more on that later) and the staff were great, including the owner Maria. The neighborhood was very walkable, quiet and great restaurants with that fantastic steak nearby. Trendy but pricey clothing also nearby, a lot of it made right there. About a 2 km walk to the nearest subway, but a great and cheap system once you're on it. Cabs are also inexpensive. A ride downtown is $5-7 vs $0.50 for the subway. Your choice. We insisted on a room with the bathroom integral to it (not all are so check). Because of this we got a great room on the first floor, but across from the garden/sunroom where you can take your delicious breakfast. Some people started earlier than us. Some of them were less cognizant of the fact that there were rooms very close to them and used their outside voices. You see where this is going... Great breakfast 8-12, friendly staff, good price and neighborhood. Somewhat long walk to the subway.

"Great hotel in a peaceful setting"
Made reservations in this hotel based on the the reviews and we were not disappointed. The hotel has the feeling of an old southern mansion with hanging vines and all. We stayed on the third floor that was airy and with lots of light. Our room was very comfortable with a soft bed and nice linens. The bathroom included nice toiletries. A buffet breakfast was included with scrambled eggs and a nice variety of freshly baked medialunas and other breads. A nice choice of cold cereals, juices, coffee and teas and organic fruits. Breakfast was served in a room that was in the back patio so we used to take it seating outside in the little green oasis that is very peaceful. This is a wonderful hotel that provides a very serene setting in the middle of a very busy city. All the hotel staff are very helpful and always professional. This was a great hotel that we would like to go back.
