"Location was perfect for walks we wanted to do (including Merrick). Accommodation was new and so in perfect order. I had asked before arrival if bedding was included since the photos didn't show. Answer came back yes. What they didn't tell me at that point was that towels/shower gel/dish towels were not included and so we wasted time going into town to spend £34 on towels. "The ships cabin is a lovely place to stay for a couple. Everything you need, it’s clean, modern, and well located in Gatehouse. Parking off road just outside on the drive.
The WiFi works, the tv has loads of channels. Very comfortable would recommend. It’s is located centrally in Gatehouse, just a bit away from the Spa, park, Ship pub and a fab ice cream shop. Gatehouse is a lovely place. Very friendly residents. Thank you for a wonderful stay."

"The property was nicely furnished and comfortable. Enjoyed the week there.
Rated ok mainly because of the pictures of the property. The pictures of the property grounds are very misleading. Clearly labelled, they make it look like it is part of a pub with a walled garden. This is not the case. It's an independent apartment on the main street. I was there a week and never found the pub or walled garden shown in the pictures labelled as property grounds. Photos attached clearly stating property...
