"Very friendly and helpful owners, check in etc happens remotely. Spotlessly clean and tidy small hotel in the train station building. Passing trains are obviously loud, but there were none between ca 2300-0700, so it didn't bother us at all, in fact it was fun to watch them pass! A short walk into the town centre with shops, restaurants and café. Free parking much appreciated too."

"Det finns bara ett hotell i centrala Vingåker. Det var kallt i både hallarna och matsalen. Sängen var okej, men resten var på gränsen – ett mycket enkelt och trångt badrum samt slitna golv, mattor och möbler. Hotellet är i stort behov av renovering. Att betala 1500 kronor per natt för denna standard är minst sagt orimligt."

"It wasn’t a great experience. The toilet and shower were located outside, and we had to pay extra for bedding and towels. The lake is actually 2 km away, even though the pictures make it seem like it’s right by the site—which is misleading. The house is supposed to accommodate five people, but the hot water in the shower barely lasts for two before you have to wait for it to heat up again."
