"My longtime friend and I wanted a short getaway and chose this perfect little bungalow in Ventura. The home has virtually everything you need to feel at home. The kitchen is well appointed and it was fun to cook in, rather than eat out constantly. The backyard is a great area to relax in too. There are convenience stores and a Rite Aid/Vons within walking distance if you don’t bring your groceries with you. The beds are very comfortable and everything was extremely clean. We would stay here...

If you are an expecting a freshly refurbished generic midrange hotel, you won’t find it here. But you will find a well appointed and charming hotel that doesn’t skimp on comfort. "

"We liked that it was close to the Channel Islands boat dock. The breakfast was "meh." The sausage sandwich was loaded with cholestrol and sodium. If you need a restroom before checkin, you're out of luck. "
