It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient. "This little farmhouse is 100 years old and still had everything we needed for our stay. Comfortable beds, nice showers and plenty of hot water. It gave us a taste of a life lived long ago. Views were beautiful and the town of Lucca was 20 minutes away by car. Shopping there is great. The farmhouse is remote, quiet, and in the middle of olive trees. Wi-Fi was good, and the parking was a nice amenity. Massimo provided us with a lot of local information which was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay."

"Really spacious and well equipped apartment. There were only two of us but there was more than enough room for four. It was only a five minute walk to inside the city walls and having parking was great as we had driven from Umbria. Whilst staying at the apartment though, we didn't need to use the car at all which was wonderful after a lot of traveling. Renata and her son met us at the apartment and were so helpful. They also gave us lots of excellent advice and tips. Highly recommended."
