"The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and it was in a great location. I enjoyed the Nespresso coffee machine, refrigerator, water kettle and complimentary daily (small) bottle of water. The downsides were that it was really expensive for an outdated hotel room facing a brick wall and overlooking an alley. There were no outlets near the bed and only 1 outlet at the desk. There was nowhere to hang towels to dry so that we could reuse them as requested. "

"Everything about the Jan Luyken Hotel was excellent! A small boutique hotel in a lovey, quiet area of Amsterdam. The staff at the hotel were incredible! They were always available to answer questions and were extremely pleasant. The complimentary breakfast, afternoon hors d'oeuvres and drinks (beer, wine, soda’s) were icing on the cake. It’s also in a wonderful location--close to the museum district, beautiful Voldelpark and the canals. We would definitely stay here again!"
