"John & Lein were amazing hosts. Their accommodation is a standout here. It's clean, well appointed, and includes many thoughtful touches. It has all you need and is close to the beach, shops, restaurants. The hosts shared their knowledge of the area and even helped me get tickets to a nearby park where I enjoyed many hikes and saw a lot of wildlife. Snag this rental if you can."

"We stayed 6 nights in April. Highly recommended. Small village with a Spar and a bakery/coffee shop on the large canal just a km away. Nice to watch all sizes of boats up the canal. When we arrived later in the evening we found the only way to the front door was crossing a rickety, rotted out deck with nails sticking up all over. There was no running water at all in our cottage, as well as not hot running water in the bathrooms only in the shower. "We enjoyed our stay. We have stayed in the city before but this time planned to visit the tulip fields and the Keukenhof gardens and it was an easy 15/20 minute drive. The location is quiet and tranquil. You hear all the animals playing and talking and we even got a visit from a group of ducks. If you wish to go into the city it's at least 30 minutes but also an easy drive. There is no TV which as weird at first but it worked out just fine!"
