"Fabulous studio that is centrally located - it takes 3 minutes to walk to the sunnega funicular or to the bus stop to the Matterhorn gondola. Good view of the Matterhorn too! Apartment was very clean and felt like home with the well stocked kitchen with quality wares, spices, etc. Host Nicki is welcoming and an excellent communicator. Look forward to returning."

"Super smooth check in process. Loved the views ans silence at Overlook Lodge compared to a regular room at Cervo. Staff was extremely attentive and were accessible at all times. I was jumping out of my bed every morning at sunrise to enjoy the views! At a little extra cost you can also enjoy breakfast and spa at Cervo. Hotel has direct connection to the lifts! I would recommend it to everyone and stay here again!"

I think it was a little confusing that we were actually located in a condo separate from any main hotel building (studio Venus) and there wasn’t too much around us. "Property is not accessible through road as it is on the hill and no road is leading to there. You have to take the Gornergrat train for one station to reach the property. Ticket cost is CHF17 one way which is quite costly. Flat 16 does not have any view to Matterhorn so avoid booking this one to avoid disappointment. Flat is clean and properly manager is very helpful. "
