Great wine country location but some issues
The location of the home was ideal for visiting wine country, Lake Sonoma and a day trip to the coast.
We arrived a little early and the host allowed us to drop our things off. I had notified the host earlier in the week that there would be four of us (original reservation was for two) and she charged me a significant amount extra that day even though the listing says sleeps four. We were going to bring our own airbeds and sleeping bags, but she told me she would provide two airbeds and linens, so we didn’t bring ours. It took some time to find the airbeds, and only one could be fully inflated. The second one was shorter, and was too small for an adult woman. The first airbed stayed inflated for a little while but was slowly leaking air while my friend was sleeping and became unusable. We notified the host, but she was unable to provide us with a functional airbed for our second night. The house was clean when we arrived but there were ants all over the master shower tub. The host had placed many ant houses in the bathroom and on the kitchen counter, which was kind of yucky, to be honest.
The listing includes use of the washer and dryer in the garage, and I did one load of laundry while we were there. The host saw me on the camera in the garage and immediately messaged me to tell me I was not allowed to use the laundry pods, so we did not do any more laundry.
The house is cute and in a great location, but we would not stay here again.
