“Jefferson Hotel”
Jefferson Hotel
“Very nice, top drawer, recently remodeled and modernized hotel”
The Jefferson shut down for two years for a total remodel, reopening in 2009. They moderized everything while blending and maintaining its original style. It is very clean, offering butlers to take of your needs on request. It has two restaurants, one that serves three meals and is very european in cusine. The other is the hotel bar and grill. The bar and grill offers complimentary mixed nuts and the best pickled green olives, with pits, and a varied food menu as well. Food portions of just about every meal are large and very fresh. The hotel is reasonably within walking distance to the White House, a couple of Metro Stations, and the National Mall area.
“Very friendly hotel”
This is a landmark hotel which is a short walk away from the White House. The staff are very warm and welcoming and my deluxe King room was very comfortable and quiet. I cannot fault the hotel or service in any way and would definitely stay there again.
“Best place to stay in DC”
Thought I was spending too much for a room but decided on it anyway. Was expensive but the place was great. I had kids with me and we did not eat there but the menu looked great
“Good choice”
Small room, very nice and comfortable bed. good sized bathroom. Well located
“A hotel gem”
The staff was attentive and helpful; the rooms were delightful and the amenities numerous and appreciated.
“Charm, Grace and Service”
Amazing service, even for a five star hotel. All the staff made you feel like you were a special guest in their gracious home. We had two young children and felt very comfortable and welcome. Highly recommended.
“Friendly staff and great location.”
The staff was friendly and the service was great. The restaurant was a little pricy, but probably about the same as other nearby hotels. Overall, it was a great place to stay.
“Nice Hotel”
The Jefferson was one of the most comfortable hotels I have ever stayed in. It just is not for kids. I was led to believe that they had a swimming pool, but they did not.I would recommend the hotel to strictly adults.
“Surperior Stay”
Best Hotel we have stayed in with the exception of the Wynn in Las Vegas. The Jefferson has the best hotel staff over the the Wynn.
