"Two enthusiastic thumbs up"
We only stayed for one night, but it was one of the best hotels I've stayed at for the price. A great value. All in all, I would recommend this hotel if you don't need a pool. One staff member was a bit chatty, but she gave fantastic directions and alternate routes. This allowed us to get to the concert easily, and to exit the parking lot more quickly than others.

"Beautiful Historic Hotel"
We had a very comfortable stay at the Senator. It is a beautifully restored over 100 year old hotel (build in 1908). As you know when you book with any of the agencies like Expedia the rooms given are not the executive rooms therefore do not expect an executive room. Our room was more than adequate but had only a double bed, which was fine for us because we are not large people but I can see this being a problem if people are of a larger size. I think a request for a queen would be possible though, the staff were very helpful. There is a Keurig machine in the room and you get good Van Houtte coffee. I suggest running a cup full of water through it before use because they seem to clean it with bleach, which is very sanitary, which I appreciate but which leaves a bad taste in the machine which needs to be removed before your first use. We were given the choice of the first or second floor to stay on. Choose the second floor to avoid the risk of noise disturbance from the bar, we stayed in a room on the second floor and had a nice quiet stay even though we were right above the bar, we never heard a thing. Parking is hard to find. If you use their parking in back, of which they have a little but not a whole lot and it is tight, you have to surrender your keys because they must double park the vehicles. The bar has excellent food, we never had a chance to try Rembrandt's though. We had a very pleasant stay and would stay there again.

    Saskatoon Hotel Guide

Surrounded by an endless expanse of wheat fields and prairie landscapes, Saskatoon is a surprisingly vibrant counterpoint to the otherwise pastoral Saskatchewan. Outdoor enthusiasts love the area for its picturesque vistas — the South Saskatchewan River is the city’s most prominent landmark — but culture buffs find plenty of charm in the museum and gallery districts, Art Nouveau architecture and innovative summer festivals. Book a room at one of the top hotels in Saskatoon, SK, and get ready to uncover this artistic gem.

    Saskatoon Hotel Destinations

Though many travelers stay near the Central Business District, you’ll find Saskatoon hotels situated in nearly each of the city’s diverse neighborhoods. If you want to be surrounded by incredible things to do, the aforementioned CBD is ideal; you’ll be close to the Midtown Plaza and Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra. The nearby Nutana neighborhood is similarly bustling, and it’s in this artistic community that you’ll uncover some of the best shopping spots. Browse the quirky boutiques on Broadway Avenue to score a few deals on souvenirs you simply won’t find anywhere else.

Of course, several of the top hotels in Saskatoon are located just outside the city center. Try one of the airport hotels for the perfect combination of convenience and upscale amenities, or head to Silverspring for a more residential experience. The latter is an especially good area for families; it’s just a stone’s throw from the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo, and you might just find some pet friendly hotels nearby.
