"Great location; a few steps from Stephenplatz!!"
Breakfast is on the expensive side; however, it is a full buffet and it has everything you need to keep you going for many hours!! If you look for something cheaper, there is a very nice supermarket with great coffee facing the same square where the hotel is located and there is always the Oberlaa, a wonderful viennaise coffee shop! The hotel is difficult to find since it's advertised with an address on a street where there is no entrance. Nonetheless, the main entrance is right in front of a beautiful fountain, across the street from the Kapuchinen's church.

"Very comfortable, friendly staff, great breakfast"
Our family had two executive rooms. One with a king bed and the other with two singles. Both rooms were very clean, comfortable and in very good condition. Showers were excellent and the included breakfast buffet was one of the best we had. Hi speed if I access was very good with a strong signal in our rooms

"Nothing was too much trouble"
The extremely high levels of customer care really stood out and you never felt anything was too much trouble. We had out five children with us in 4 rooms and they thoroughly enjoyed the "Grand" experience. Some have not been too happy that there was a mall next to the hotel, but we found this added to the convenience of the hotel as there ware some excellent boutique shops to browse as well as an excellent food store just in case you needed the odd snack or bottle of wine.

"Excellent hotel, perfect location for sightseeing!"
A friend and I stayed here for our recent holiday to Vienna. We were in Austria for ten days and wanted to take in areas like Salzburg too. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and polite, they offered us help to find our way around the area and pointed out sights which were further afield. They also gave us some information to help plan our trip to Salzburg (we travelled via the Westbahn train service). We saw lots of different guests at the hotel, including families with very young children and people on business, clearly showing that it is well suited for a variety of travellers. There's free wifi in the rooms and in the business centre downstairs. The room was a superior room- extremely comfortable, fantastic amenities including an iron/ironing board, hair dryer and a complimentary minibar. We ate in the hotel restaurant on our first night and the service and food were excellent. The hotel is a two minute walk from the Opera, sightseeing bus stop, u-Bahn and main shopping strip. It is also about five minutes walk from the Kunsthistoriches museum and museumsquartiere, so excellent for sightseeing. There are also some amazing restaurants within walking distance, offering a variety of local specialities and European food.

"Great place to stay in Vienna"
Our family of four stayed here for 6 nights in August. The location is very convenient: right next to the U-Bahn metro (which is great and really easy to use) station and the Danube canal, fairly close to the Old City: 10 minutes walk from Schwedenplatz , 15 minutes walk from Stephansplatz (St. Stephan’s Cathedral) . The promenade next to the Danube Canal is also a nice place to walk on with lots of restaurants and bars. There is a mini-mart next door and a grocery store about 5-7 minutes away. The apartment Karoline is nice: a big bedroom, a small bedroom, a big living and dining room with a sofa bed, a nice big bath and a separate tiny WC. It is very charming, is well-maintained (as is the whole apartment building), has all the basic amenities (fridge, microwave, washing machine etc) , is very comfortable,. Number of restaurants close by, I can particularly recommend Skopik & Lohn. Sonja, the landlady, was very nice in patiently answering questions and also arranged the airport transfer. The apartment is nt perfect : no air conditioning (somewhat of an issue in the first half of our stay, when it was hot, though the small fans did help a lot), three long flights of stairs up with no elevator, no freezer, spotty internet a weirdly small WC , a not particularly comfortable bed in the main bedroom. But the size and overall comfort of the apartment and the great location next to the U-bahn more than makes up for all of these minor issues, highly recommended.

"Couldn't have been a better stay!"
We were upgraded to the premium area as it was our first time at the hotel. The room was amazing with plushy duvets and a newly renovated bathroom. The location was quiet and in walking distance to the metro station. We were able to walk and take the metro to all the tourist areas we wanted to visit. Wifi was very good and the tv had a good selection of English channels.

"Good Hotel close to Vienna Centre"
This was a quiet clean hotel with helpful staff. Walking distance to the Opera house and Musikerverin. We didn't eat in the hotel as much cheaper to go to one of the nearby Cafe's or restaurants.

"Central and convenient"
The Graben hotel is excellent. The rooms are comfortable and clean if rather small but the staff are lovely and the restaurant downstairs is to be recommended. In terms of location the hotel cannot be bettered and you can walk to most of the sites of Vienna. Highly recommended.
