Pros: Linens were good quality, soap etc. very nice, the eco sensitive cleaning products much appreciated. The included full breakfast was very good.
Cons: A view, other than the other wing of the hotel, would have made it nearly perfect!
Location: Location was everything! We walked everywhere we wanted to see in downtown Victoria.
The Embassy Inn proved a good choice for a short visit to Victoria. The location is ideal, close to the inner harbor, just across the street from the Parliament building, and a block from the Museum. We were able to easily walk all over the downtown area. The drive to Oak Bay was easy and we were able to avoid much of the congestion downtown. The return from Oak Bay along the scenic bay route was beautiful and brought us very close to the hotel.

Good hotel with a great location.

Posted 26-Jan-2015
Pros: Location, cleanliness, breakfast, parking and internet.
Cons: A little room updating would be great. Bathroom baseboards needed some attention and the cold water tap in the bathroom sink was installed backwards.
Location: The harbour was very close, Parliament buildings were right out the front door and Fishermans Wharf was a short and pleasant wallk.
We enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Embassy Inn. The room was small but comfortable and very clean. The location was convenient to Victoria attractions. The complimentary breakfast was ample and delicious. Serving staff were well trained and pleasant. Complimentary parking and internet were welcome inclusions.

Our evening in Victoria at Embassy Inn.

Posted 26-Jan-2015
Pros: The classic charm and down to earth style and comfort.
Cons: Just making sure that cleaning does a complete job as there was still coffee in the pot as we went to use it and the kleenex box was empty.
Location: Very nicely located to the IMAX theatre and we enjoyed a nice dinner at the Spaghetti Factory. With in walking distance to the Marina and the Bay area
Although this is not related to the Embassy Inn and Suites I am used to in the USA, it was truly fantastic just the same.. Our room was not ready as we were early, so the Host very nicely found a much better location to enjoy some of the views from the comfort of our room. It was very spacious and gave a beautiful view of the Parliament buildings and surrounding green lawns and open spaces, very open and airey feeling. The room had nice amenities and was extremely comfortable. Our stay there even came with a complete full hot buffet style breakfast and an awesome pot of coffee.Very nice parking in basement as it was raining heavily and that made it nice for car accessi The location is dead centre in the best area of the bay and is within walking distance to all you could ever want and enjoy!!

Nice hotel next to the Parliament Bldg

Posted 19-Jan-2015
Pros: It's proximity to Victoria landmarks.
Cons: The beds were a little uncomfortable. The check in staff person was unpleasant.
Location: See abouve.
The price was right for our budget and the hotel was right next door to the Parliament Bldg, Royal BC Museum, the Empress Hotel and downtown Victoria sites and shopping and the busy inner harbour. We were able to bring our dog at an additional cost.

Very pleased with this hotel.

Pros: WOW!!! This hotel is very clean!!! The front desk staff was very pleasant and cheerful. The restaurant server by the name of Barbie was exceptional!.
Cons: The washroom, although very clean, could use some "up to date" remodelling.
Location: Great and quiet location.
Would recommend this hotel in a minute to our family & friends. The cleanliness of the hotel and restaurant. The delicious hot breakfast available from the restaurant, the free parking in a downtown area location, all in all, a fantastic value!!!!

Good location, comfortable rooms. Free breakfast which was tasty. Only complaint is that they didn't fully make my bed in the morning.

Clean and quiet.

Posted 5-Jan-2015
Pros: Friendly staff and a clean room.
Cons: The in room coffee was awful. If you want coffee before the restaurant opens don't count on it being drinkable.
The included breakfast was only a credit towards items on an overpriced menu.

Good Location

Posted 1-Jan-2015
Pros: Location, free parking, staff
Cons: Save the closet size rooms for single travelers. It would still be tight but doable. A pillow top cover on the mattress would help.
Location: The location was great, within walking distance of the ferries and down town. Most of the things we did on this trip required driving.
Overall our experience was nice. I was very disappointed in the size of the room. It was extremely tight for just the two of us. The last time I had a room this small was at a Travelodge costing $30 a night! The bed was very uncomfortable as was the only chair in the room, a straight back desk chair. The staff is what saved the experience for us. They were all great. The restaurant was ok only. It was not the quality of food I would expect at a top tier hotel.
