“Very pleasent atmosphere all around great room”
The hotel itself is an excellent remodeling of an older building the only area that u can see its age is in the hall ways being so narrow.The staff were also excellent and very attentive to all the needs of thier guests.
“Spacious suite with kitchen, very nice staff.”
Having a full kitchen was splendid and saved us money not having to eat out every meal. Also, the fold out couch was great as a third bed so the 3 of us in the suite could each have our own bed. The only inconvenience: the noise of fridge compressor cycle woke me up several times during the night. My kids slept through it, though.
“New favorite place To stay in Victoria”
Stayed here four only a night. What a nice location. Close to a very nice tourist area. Room was a king and very nice comfortable bed. Hotel staff was amazing. Had breakfast in the cafe and it was good. Lots of butter on the toast. Some homeless or transient people around as the Salvation Army is down the road. They were no bother. Would definitely recommend and return.

Walking distance to many attractions and shops. Quiet and clean rooms. Freindly and helpful staff. Only disadvantage was the parking if you forget something in your vehicle- 1.5 blocks away- valet parking. Cost of room was reasonable for downtown location.

“Great Location, Good Value”
The Best Western Carlton is within walking distance of downtown Victoria and conveniently located for easy driving to any place else on Vancouver Island. Their parking service is excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is a good deal for a convenient place to stay in Victoria. It is not the right hotel if you are looking for a view from your room or a bar in the lobby.

“Impressive”
Right from the moment I arrived the staff was very helpful and I felt went out of their way to make sure my stay was fantastic. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again myself.
“Fine place to stay in Victoria”
Hotel was fine and staff great. My one concern was the location which is just on the edge of the tourist area. Everything is in walking distance but their were quite a number of homeless teenagers in the area at night.
