“A touch of venetian elegance”

We had read about Bloom, found the website, and liked what we saw. Attached to its 'parent' hotel, Bloom is so understated from the outside, and beautifully appointed within. It was hard to believe that, as we relaxed on the roof terrace overlooking Campo San Stefano, with our complimentary Prosecco, we were in the heart of Venice - so near to everything, yet so quiet and restful. Each of the bedrroms was decorated and appointed to a very high standard. The Continental Breakfasts were superb. Essentially, I suppose, it has been a Venetian 'town house' of longstandiing. As a small, but very elegant, B&B, it has everything for the discerning visitor who wants that element of 'escape from the madding crowds' of St Mark's Square! Would we go back? Most definItely! Expensive? Probably, but then, isn't everything in Venice? Bloom is excellent value for money.

Lovely boutique B&B in the heart of Venice, ideally located 5 mins walk from Sant Angelo vaporetto stop and less than 10 mins walk from San Marco. Buffet breakfast very good, and free glass of Prosecco a very nice touch. Our room was very comfortable with good (and essential!) aircon though compact - each room is different. There is a rooftop terrace which gives a chance for some relative peace. Note that the rooms are on the third floor and there is no lift.

“Loved it”

It is hard to find. Look for the doorbell with bloom on it in really small writing. But apart from that everything was great. Location, room appointments and Location. Would stay here again in a flash. Immediate area has some great little Cafe/bars and is a good starting point for any destination in venice.

“Best find in Venice!!”

We found Bloom B & B (and the other 2 properties in the hotel family, Settimo Cielo and Locanda Fiorita) completely by accident because all other Venice hotels were so highly priced. What a delightful find!! Bloom and Settimo Cielo actually share the same building -- Settimo Cielo on the first and second floors and Bloom on the third and fourth. Both are delightful and for us, being on the first floor (still up a few flights of stairs) was perfect because we had just come off a 2 week cruise and our luggage not small. Room lovely, clean and quiet. Beautiful bathroom. Soundproof windows that open into the lovely Campo San Stefano square. What you see on the websites for these properties are exactly what you get. Very elegant, delicious breakfast is included as is a complimentary full bottle of Prosecco. We emailed the hotel for directions from the Venice port and our directions were complete, perfect, and easy to follow. Check-in is at the Locanda Fiorita where the B&B reception desk is located. The B&B's are adjacent to it -- staff will take you to it. Wonderful rooftop patio. Easy walking distance to major spots in Venice. Would go back again in a heartbeat! Wish I could keep this place a secret but it would not be fair. Congratulations to property owners and staff and thank you!!
