“Parking is $10 overnight but the room is clean and staff nice”
enjoyed the stay. The hotel rooms are clean. Make sure you have the view rooms, they are worth it.
“Pleasant experience. I would go back.”
We stayed at Lonsdale Quay for three nights in a junior suite. The price was a little steep for my taste, but we enjoyed the stay there nevertheless. Parking at ten per night is a bargain compared to the craziness of parking prices at Downtown Vancouver. Staying in North Vancouver was great because the hotel is located on the Seabus stop. So Downtown was only a 15 minute ride away. I do wish the market place and the shops underneath the hotel would open a little later so that hotel residents can go down for a late night snack. Unfortunately, the shops and market place closed at 6 p.m. or 7 p.m. Bummer. Our junior suite faced west, but we had a partial view of the bay. The room was clean, and bed was not too bad for a hotel bed. It was a little lumpy, but not supersoft like the Westin Seattle hotel. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Recommended.
“Good Location”
Getting a bit long in the tooth but adequate. Location is perfect if staying on North Shore.

“Great place to stay”
Suites are big and self contained. Location is great and staff very friendly
“I travel around the world and I can tell you this is one of those "budget" hotels I like.”
There is a market downstairs Sheri can have meal and the sea bus can b taken in the area too. The hotel is clean and quiet. Good deal.
“poor service, no view, old room”
The Lonsdale Quay hotel boasts about its beautiful views and clean rooms. I was sorely disappointed. To start, there was no parking; we weren't even let into the lot. We had to pay for parking elsewhere while they waited for someone to vacate a spot. We then were charged the full parking rate with no refund for the additional fee. Our room was terribly located: our view was of a walkway. We couldn't even open the blinds without having people stare into the room from just a couple feet away. So we spent the whole stay without natural light. The bathtub was mouldy and the bathroom was not clean; there were hairs on the floor and in the sink. The ONLY plus to this hotel is the location.
“Great location! We'll go back!”
This is not a luxury hotel but it is perfectly located above the Lonsdale Quay. We missed a gym and pool, but the price of the room was very reasonable. We had a great view overlooking the harbour. It was quiet and we felt safe. Had a great latte downstairs and fresh croissant for breakfast. The hotel is simple but convenient. We would have enjoyed a comfortable easy chair to relax in by the window. The bathrooms need sprucing up, but we were happy with lots of hot water. Guests should remember to pay for parking upstairs rather than down in the parking arcade. We are often in Vancouver and plan to stay at the hotel in the future.
“Good value, great location”
Huge room, great location, good value.
“North Vancouver's Most Interesting Hotel”
I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past 10 years and have always been pleased. The location is excellent, right beside the water, and right next to the seabus terminal which can bring you downtown by boat in a few minutes as part of Vancouver's transit system. You can even reach the hotel from the airport using the train and seabus, without having to rent a car or take a taxi. The hotel is contained within Lonsdale Quay Market, which is a small shopping center. The style is unique and the rooms were most likely offices before being converted to hotel rooms. The rooms are becoming somewhat dated now although they have always been clean and functional. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for something a little different.
