Our stay at this place was a very stressful experience. The poor response from the property management team was the cause of it. It started with our ignored request to refill toilet papers. After checking in we found very little amount of toilet paper (one third of a role of toilet paper in one of the three restrooms ... and ... we were 4 guests without counting the toddler). We had to drive around in an unknown place late in the night with most of the shops closed to look for toilet paper after a busy day of travelling.
The most stressful part was getting locked out of the house with our belongings inside and very sleepy kids waiting outside in the car late in the night. We were locked out because of a malfunctioning front door lock. After notifying the management team we did NOT receive any assurance that they can fix the problem. I had to prompt them to get updates on their plan to fix the problem. At NO point did we feel that the management team 'owned' the problem and could fix it. So, we started to make backup plans. After looking for hotels in vein we finally had to request a co-traveler to stay the night at their rental property. We were staring at this very uncertain situation where we might need to stay the night with our kids in our car and did not know how to get to our belongings locked inside the property in the morning. It took about 2 hours late in the night before the owner came and keyed us in.
Too much stress for what was supposed to be a vacation trip!
