“Lackluster hotel with abysmal management”
I just wanted to inform you of the atrocity that is this hotel in Toronto East. I spent one night there last night. Unfortunately, the manager could not get his hotel under control. Smoking in broom closets and rooms on a non-smoking floor led us to attempt to block the smell of smoke from entering our room using towels at the bottom of the door. Constant banging on the door across from us and screaming in the hallway until past 6 am left us wondering if we were ever going to get a wink of sleep. 5 calls to the front desk, 2 conversations with the security guard and a visit to the front desk and no remedial actions were taken. Fortunate for the 12 pm check-out, I managed to sleep a little before asking the manager for an explanation. They simply stated that I shouldn't have expected more for New Years Eve. This is absolutely unacceptable. As an international hotel chain, I expected a lot more. I can only hope your other hotels do not treat their guests in this fashion.
“Rooms heater didnt work”
Heating was not functional in the room, we were really cold
“suitable location for visit”
original assigned room was not suitable but we were quickly upgraded
“too hot”
the hotel turns off air conditioning in Oct. So the room was extremely hot with not air circulation. Very uncomfortable.
“Convenient Location”
This is a well built hotel, quiet rooms, windows that open, quiet heating system, pleasant staff, reasonable rates, good location near highway. However it has run down over the years. On recent stays, bathroom plumbing does not work well. tub enclosure tired and impossible to clean, number system beds don't work, mattress not very comfortable, room generally tired. Buffet breakfast has good variety, indifferent quality and overpriced for what it is. Nevertheless, we would stay again because of the positive qualities but would carefully inspect room on checking in and ask to be moved if not up to scratch.
“Not worth it”
Started with unhappy staff, to urine and faces stains on toilet seat (had to clean it myself), towels had stains on them, toilet bowl yellow from stains, fridge making noise all night, window leaking wind/air in the room, food terrible with dry hash browns. Asked for tea and hot water came in flask that had coffee smell in it. Had to talk to front desk twice before they changed my room. Ethernet Internet very slow and wifi only in lobby Very unhappy with this hotel quality, maintenance and cleanliness levels. Wouldn't stay there again. Location is good.
“comfortable qnd quiet”
comfortable and quiet
“have very bad Impressed”
Radisson Hotel Toronto East was very bad Hotel.
“Water Damage evident”
Took a chance on the unpublish rates for a hotel and got this one listed as a 3 star one. The hotel is located near the 401 highway and in a business park so it is quite at night. That was the positive of the outside. For inside the lobby was clean and kept well. The room I got left alot to the desire. Since there is not active ventelation to move the damp air out of the bathroom after a shower or bath you get a really damp room and the carpets felt very damp because of this. Looking at the ceiling I was able to see some water rings and peeling ceiling plaster. The airconditioner was as expected loud in use and took a while to cool down the room. Pool was fine and a good lenght to do laps from the shallow end to the deep end. Gym had the main weights out of order and only 3 other machines. Also, not sure if it was because of the special rate, there is not breakfast served but there is paid parking. Overall though you get what you pay for but the hotel should not of been rated that high.
“Easy access to all”
I would really recommande this hotel to anyone close to the highway for easy access to most places. The only recommaendation I would like is That instead of having coloring for the coffee to supply real milk or cream. They have a small fridge and can be given at registering day and everytime you clean the room for all your stay would be better for coffee lovers.
