“Great Service”

Hotel is new, service is as expected. The restaurant is good, so consider eating right at the hotel instead of driving around. Very quiet. I would definitely go back.

“Just right”

Overall was pleased, and have used the hotel several times. Well priced, convenient, very clean. One very small annoyance was and continues to be the incredibly high temperature in the exercise centre: Get a fan guys please. Find a way to get some fresh air in there. It is hard to exercise at a temperature near 80F; 27C approximately. Other than that, everything has been fine through three visits.

“Very clean, but will probably not stay again.”

It was a very nice hotel and very clean. The front desk personnel was not very friendly, but not rude so it was okay. My only disappointment was the fact that the full breakfast as advertised was not included and would have had to pay additional $$$. We only found this out the first morning after we helped ourselves to bkfst and the waitress asked if we had our bkfst coupons. For the extra charge, the bkfst was not worth it (general type of bkfst all other hotels offer). It was a long drive to any tourist attraction - better to stay right in Toronto or closer to Niagara Falls.

“Dining Staff Super during Breakfast!!”

My only complaint was that they didn't give us coupon's for the complimentary breakfast. I sat down for breakfast, the kid's were already getting their plates and staff asked me for a coupon, I said "what coupon"? Apparently you need to make sure your Expedia rate includes the continental breakfast. The front desk then checked and handled the situation. The DINING STAFF were wonderful and friendly, probably the best part of my stay in fact. The hotel is just across the highway from a movie theatre/ food court with ample selection. The pool was clean and the hotel common area well put together.

“Hilton Garden Inn”

Breakfast wasn't offered as part of the price, so I can't rate the value as especially high. This should be automatic for this class of business hotel, especially considering the rate. Room service was prompt and decent--expensive as hell, however (big surprise). In-room TVs were old CRTs, not newer LCDs, microwave and mini fridge (no mini bar) were provided. Non-Smoking was accomodated. Overall decent, just would have expected a Continental Breakfast to be included for this price, especially since they have a suitable restaurant bar area located at the front entrance.

“Safe Bet”

Check in was very fast and all the paperwork was ready, so I did not have to wait at the front desk. The hotel is clean and the rooms were spacious and well serviced.

Area recommendations
The city is very spread out, so be sure that your hotel is close to your area of business. There is every type of hotel imaginable, but make sure to read the reviews befor staying there. It can take 1.5 hours to get across the city at highway speeds with moderate traffic.
When to go
If you're coming to see the city for pleasure, be aware that it is very hot during June to September.
