"good budget friendly rooms in the heart of zurich and a 10 mins walk from the train station. the neighborhood has a very dynamic nightlife and is filled with restaurants, nightclubs and bars. it’s very fun to walk around in during the day but it’s not the most family-friendly area at night. a lot of drunk people hanging outside. the entrance is through a convenience store (open 24h) and the hotel reception is at the cash register of said store. the rooms are definitely not the nicest and you...

"The best location, views and luxury room! Beds were SO comfy, room was HUGE and immaculate. Highly recommend over staying In Lucerne- website does not do this hotel justice. Only downside was no robes in room and my room was missing a coffee pot-our friends had both items in their room so probably a fluke! "

"It was difficult to find the entrance. The was no signage. Property information should include a description of the shops on each side of the entrance."

"Property is in a scenic setting close to Lake. Had eclectic decor which we loved. Staff Mr. Paul was very kind and helped us to call and lodge complaint when I lost my cell phone in train. They also had amazing beveled station! I would definitely stay there in my next trip."

"Unclear was that our room was actually in a building a quick block north. But front desk staff escorted us directly to our room. The room was very spacious, beds cozy, ample plugs. Bathroom/Shower were common but the building so quiet we encountered nobody else. Great location to everything. 100% would stay again."

"We had an enjoyable l one night stay at Gasthaus zum Bauernhof. The check in process was very unique in that your key is awaiting you but we did not see anyone who worked there until later. The beds were very comfortable, the room was spacious and we appreciated the adjoining rooms our family shared. "We were there when most of the staff was on holiday. The remaining staff was very friendly and courteous. The small village of Oberbipp is absolutely wonderful with friendly people."

"This hotel is a magical dream. The staff is incredibly kind and very professional. The decor is so special and the views in all directions are wonderful. The cows with bells in the pasture next to us was a beautiful sound.This is one of the most memorable hotel stays I’ve ever had. Now I am dying to stay again in the winter and go cross country skiing. "

The history and charm of the Chateau could quickly be felt upon arrival and did not disappoint for the rest of our stay! The grounds were well manicured and blooming beautifully at this time of the year. I highly recommend a romantic weekend getaway for two using the spa facilities if ever in the area! "
