"Get away from the hustle and bustle of Williamsburg and stay here! A very seamless and quick (free) car ferry ride across the James to get to Busch Gardens and Jamestown. This place is great for families. There is even a basketball hoops the kids enjoyed! Lots of space to move and very quiet and serene. We tried 2/3 restaurants in town, both good. Neighbors were friendly and lots of charm. Amanda was fabulous to work with during our stay."

"This is a real gem. It is small but very accomodating. Love seeing the families enjoy themselves and seeing everyone walking their dogs. Very friebdly. Wish it hadn’t rain but our daughter still had a great time at the game room and the free ice cream. "We had an enjoyable stay on the houseboat. The bed was comfortable, and the accommodations had everything we needed. We even made spaghetti the first night for dinner since we arrived later than planned. The area is private, we only saw a few people and those we did see gave a friendly hello if they didn't stop to chat with us. For anyone wondering about the movement of the boat, it is very stable. Inside was two bedrooms, a bathroom, and small living area with fridge and microwave. Everything was clean and neat. Peter was a great at answering my questions and very friendly. It was a very well maintained campground. Will stay there again when in the Williamsburg area! "

"The rooms are comfortable and spacious, I’ve stayed here before thats why I decided to stay here again. The only issue was that our kitchen didn’t have any pots or pans, it had utensils, plates and cups but I wasn’t able to cook. Good thing he had booked two rooms and that way we were able to use the pots from the other room. There was no laundry room on any kind of the two rooms. Everything else was great. The people at the front office were very helpful"
