“Truly 5* Hotel!”
Amazing hotel - truly 5-star experience! Beautiful grounds and nice rooms. Loved the privacy, serenity, and exclusivity of this hotel. Spa and pools were great. Every room had a butler assigned who did everything from unpacking to packing your luggage - truly unmatched!!!! Greeted with champagne and a massage while my husband did the check in paperwork, which was very easy and ready to go. Wonderful place for couples, but appropriate for children too. Fabulous golf courses. Attend the champagne ceremony on Friday evenings. The only disappointing experience was the quality of room service. Breakfast at Marietas restaurant was great though. Food on the property is expensive, which is expected at a 5star hotel. The Punta Mita town is very close, so take advantage of local restaurants in town.
“Gorgeous St. Regis Punta Mita”
The St. Regis in Punta Mita is gorgeous. We were there during the off season, so not a lot of people. We were upgraded with room on ocean. Staff was absolutley amazing. Kids club staff were awesome (our 7 year old was the only one there). The only thing is that the restaraunt menu really doesn't change and they have basically 1 restaurant that allows children, so we ended up eating everything on the menu - we also went off the grounds a few times. Punta Mita is far from the hussle and bussle of Puerto Vallarta, so be prepared to drive if you want to go there (which we did and it's quite easy). Enjoy!
“Secluded and beautiful”
This is an incredible secluded and beautiful property on a gorgeous private beach. My wife and I typically stay at small boutique hotels closer to a town so at first we thought we would be a little uncomfortable being behind gates and being doted on. It didn't take long to get over that, after experiencing the beauty of the hotel and the setting, and the amazing service. The beaches are just about as beautiful as it gets - gorgeous white sand, turquoise water, beautiful coconut palms, rocks and cliffs. It could have been an empty beach on the north shore of Oahu. The spa is first class and my wife maintains it was the best massage of her life. I received a complimentary 10 minute massage on the beach and would have to agree! The food is all excellent but very pricey - you do not need 5 star cuisine at 5 star prices for every single meal. I would suggest that the St Regis add a casual taco stand on the beach for a cheap bite. I should also note that the food service is not on par with the service in the rest of the hotel. It's difficult to get a handle on the location before you go, but basically you are deep in a large gated compound and will need to use the hotel's limo service to get into town - it's about 2 miles, and I didn't see anyone walking. A walk to the Four Seasons along the beach is a must however. This is a beautiful hotel in a gorgeous setting with incredible service. Even if luxury resorts aren't your thing this is worth a splurge.
“Luxury experience”
Excellent staff, pristine grounds, spacious room and bathroom. We had a hotel driver pick us up at the airport. We were greeted with a glass of champagne in the lobby, relaxed a little, then were taken to our room. Food on the resort is very good. Good wine list too. The town of Punta de Mita doesn't have much. A few average restaurants. Saulita, a little surfing village about 20 minutes away, had more of a "scene" and was good day trip. If you're looking to relax and be pampered, the St. Regis is the place to be.

“Punta Mita”
The staff are what makes this an excellent stay. The GM goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable and the concept of Bespoke Service makes the experience quite special. Mexican resorts are typically kid friendly and the St. Regis does a lot to keep kids entertained, but this place is more about adult relaxation and understated elegance. Those with children may, or should, look elsewhere.
“Punta Mita Treasure”
I have been to Punta Mita several times and always have stayed at the Four Seasons so we decided to give the St Regis a try. It is definitely the better hotel for couples. It is quiet and peaceful at night. The room was wonderful with an outside shower. I took the paddleboarding lesson from the hotel and it was a great experience and the instructor was great :) The butler service is wonderful and we used it daily. The staff was very accomodating and went out of their way to make us happy. I dined at the Carolina restaurant twice, that was an amazing experience- The pools are beautiful and spacious. I'll definitely be back- bring a float for the ocean out in front, it is a great place to relax as the water is warm and calm- a few rocks so wear booties if you are sketchy about your feet- Top surf spots are nearby so bring your board if you are a surfer. Prepare to relax and enjoy!! Good Living!!!
“Great Hotel...a few things that can be better though”
Great Hotel overall, fantastic service, buttler service always go out of their way to fulfill your needs and desires...great facilities (pool, lobby, etc) It wouldn't hurt to improve on a couple of things: - They charge for wireless internet which to me is ridiculuos for the amount you pay to stay there. I would expect that to be complimentary. - They really have to change their menu if they only have one restaurant available - Marietas is the same menu as Sea Breeze - Carolinas only open thursday to sunday and is not like you would eat there everyday (5 diamond rest)...fantastic place though - You're restricted to sea breeze for breakfast, lunch and dinner...and they don't do a buffet everyday. If I were you I would go out and try the different small places in town. GREAT FOOD for a quarter of the price - Business Center: only one laptop....do I need to say more? Overall great experience...but could improve on a couple of things.
“Relaxed tranquility”
Great resort! Remote, relaxeing location with a small town a mile away and Puerto Vallarta 40 minutes away. Would definitely return. Staff was warm, inviting and extremely personable.
