A large infinity pool overlooks the resort's private, golden-sand beach. Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit All Inclusive has 267 suites with private, furnished balconies or terraces with pool, ocean or ocean front views. Suites are over 1,000 sq. ft. in size. Amenities include high-speed and wireless Internet (surcharges), minibars, and flat-screen cable TV with DVD/CD/MP3 players. Pay movies are available.
All suites feature furnishings in teak wood and light neutral tones with tropical color accents. Beds have down pillows and comforters, and the hotel offers an eight-pillow menu for a customized sleep experience. Turndown service is provided. Bathrooms have bathrobes, phones, and toiletries from the Gilchrist & Soames English Spa Collection.

“Quality Hotel”
We had a suite that included a 2nd story terrace with a jacuzzi. The views are unbelievable. We really enjoyed the food in their dining restaurants. The only downside is that you have to dress up to get in. My husband showed up in shorts and flip-flops and they wouldn't sit us. However, they did let him borrow a pair of pants and didn't mention anything about his flip-flops...go figure. Overall very nice, quality hotel with friendly staff members.
“Very Impressive All inclusive”
This was the experience that vacations are made for. Freindly staff, great food, clean rooms, service oriented, great all around. Truly all incllusive, private and first class. The spa is also huge and really a must.
“We have made this a yearly excursion”
My family and I have made the trek to the hotel two years in a row. The hotel is extremely clean. The employees will jump through hoops to make the guests happy. The only bummer, this year, is that guests have to reserve seats around the pool. The line starts about 7am and guests cannot elect their seats until 8 am. It is a hassle but once your seats are picked you will have a great day
“Puerto Vallarta Vacation”
I would recommend this property to anyone considering visiting Puerto Vallarta. Aside from the beautiful location, the service was superb; the rooms spacious and immaculate; food was above all our expectations. You can walk for miles along the beach and there were no issues with safety or other concerns. I can't wait for our next vacation at the Grand Velas.
“Best holiday ever”
Great property with extremely friendly staff. Very nice pool and a very nice beach. The hotel provides surf board, floaters etc and my son had a great time playing with them. Kids camp was nice, could have been better. Most of the time kids were watching TV or playing video games. They did have some nice avtivities like Piniata making, treasure hunt. All three restaurants were nice although very limited choice for vegetarians. Chef was nice enough to custom make something for us. Room service very effecient and prompt.
“Top hotel in Nuevo Vallarta - 5 Star Dining!”
A few years ago after my wife and I stayed at various hotels in Puerto Vallarta we saw a review online for Grand Velas. Knowing nothing about it previously, we saw an incredible review about how personable the are, how amazing the food was etc. We booked 2 nights at the end of a trip after staying 3 nights at the Riu Palace up the coast (we're not made of money). We were beyond impressed with our first trip, and just returned from our 5th visit to in the past 2 years. We loved our experience so much that we brought both sets of parents down for Mother's Day last year which was a blast. Grand Velas gives you a truly "Mexican" experience in decor, there is nothing pretentious about this place. From the moment you walk in, to every person who greets you by the pool and beach, your troubles just wash away with the tides. The food at Grand Velas is exceptional. It really compares with 5 star dining experiences we've had in L.A. and Beverly Hills. The waiters are all classically trained and ensure that you thoroughly enjoy your evening. The hotel has been fairly empty when we were there which is another thing we enjoy. They cater to wealthy Mexican families so this past weekend, Mexican Independence Day, they were busier than normal. This isn't your "let's get smashed" or spring break type of hotel. The Americans you do meet there all tell you this is not their first time, it's almost like our personal paradise, we can't wait to be back, 3 months and counting!

“Wonderful”
Very nice place! Staff ready to help at any moment. Kids Club was enjoyed by both our kids and us the couple times we dropped in. Pool(s) were spectacular. Very quiet (not crowded) overall when we were there early April and that was a great time to go for great weather.
