The 620 rooms of this All-Inclusive Riviera Nayarit resort are housed in six buildings, or "blocks," of either three or four stories, with only one containing an elevator. Palm trees, lawns, flowering hedges, and gardens create a verdant tropical atmosphere. Activities, athletic contests, and entertainment conducted by the resort's staff begin with morning exercise and culminate with a nightly show in the open-air theater or the disco nightclub, Bar Conga. Children's activities are supervised daily near the pool.
A business center includes four computers with high-speed Internet access (surcharge). A shuttle-taxi service (surcharge) operates to downtown Puerto Vallarta 24 km (15 miles) away. “Wonderful vacation/hotel!”
I am not sure why so many people have negative reviews about this hotel. We had a wonderful time and were pleasantly surprised. The room was always clean, always had enough towels and wash cloths. We were struck with how friendly all the staff was. They always had smiles on their faces and greated you in the morning, or whenever. We will definitely go back.

Brazilian Grill I could harly finiah the six course meat entrees! The Italian had great food and service. I would highly reccomend this Resort to anyone who wants a relaxing beach vacation rooms were clean shows were good.Service excellant. Only thing to watch is if you have a hard time with stairs let them know so they can put you on a lower level or a building with an elevator. But all I can say is...... VIVA! Decameron.

“Very restful vacation”
We booked this resort for a restful vacation and that is what we got. The food was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. This was our second stay at a Decameron resort and we have been very pleased both times.
“Great Guacamole”
The hotel is on a beautiful beach outside of puerto vallarta about 20 minutes. It is in a little town called bucerias which is gorgeous and has a little market and some good restaurants. Each room has a king size bed which is a little hard but you can't notice because the sun is so tiring that you fall asleep really easily. The pools are gorgeous, especially the adult pool. The food is decent, lots of buffets, thursday is mexican night which was very, very good. They also have a snack bar with guacamole and salsa and chips which is where we ate a lot since we like mexican food so much. The drinks were good, not real strong so ask for doubles. The only beer was Sol which is a lower quality mexican beer but with enough lime in it, it is quite good. Very excellent trip Good price for great quality.
“We had the time of our lives!!!!”
Were do we begin....let's start by saying you'll never find more bang for your buck. Talk about beautiful grounds, pools and people, this place had it all. The food was fantastic (we only ate at the buffet twice) the specialty restaurants are superb. As for the beds....there was no "hard" bed in our room and it was kept very clean. We could go on and on about this place but recommend you check it out for yourselves.
“Very Impressive”
I would recommend this resort to others. Great stay and friendly staff
“My family had a wonderful time.”
The hotel has very good resturants. The have a schedule for all day activities at the resort just in case you don't want to do any of the tours. The quietest buildings are 3-6. We stayed in building 5 and the rooms had a pool side view. We would go back to this resort.
