"We had a great stay at the beautiful Yangshuo Scenic Mountain Retreat. Our room was nice and comfortable, although in the winter be warned that there is no heating! The wifi works quite well and there is always ginger tea available in the main lobby for guests. We also had very tasty breakfasts (we tried Western and Chinese and both were great), and the hotel also arranged for us to hire some bicycles for the day so we could explore the area. Paul, the hotel manager, speaks excellent English and...

"The hotel inside the community that created for tourists, inside the area has many small hotels, restaurants and shops. We love it as we can walked around shopping and eating we don't have to go out looking for food. Surrounding also nice view, mountains and vegetable farm. About 5 minutes drive to the Big Cave. "

"I enjoyed my stay. My room was nice, spacious, clean, and had a good view.The breakfast was nice and had a mix of Western and Eastern cuisine. The only downside is that it isn’t close to a metro station for public transportation."

"Location of the hostel is very good. Walkable to the Zhangjiajie National Park entrance. Overall room wasn’t that clean. The washroom had that typical smell and I saw a few stains on the bed sheets. There are only stairs but highest floor is only 5 or 6 I think. Overall it’s just a cheap acceptably clean place to stay near Zhangjiajie National Park."
