"Mary Lou was so nice to chat with, and very helpful. Sharing with us the history of the home was so fun. Such a kind soul. The peace and quiet was so nice. Discovering the history of the home was so fun! Why are there no fireplaces?!? Basement? Crawl space? See what you can find. Play records on the…well, what is it? Victorola? Hmm But be respectful, put everything back as you found it, so others can enjoy it as we have."

"We loved our time at the Kimmell House. Beautiful grounds and house was amazing! We stayed in the private cottage with a king bed. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, the sheets were the best I have ever felt, 4 pillows with a variety of firm and soft, and our room was lovely. They went above and beyond with extra comforts and treats. Breakfast both days was delicious and homemade from scratch, absolutely loved it. We had a wonderful weekend, and we are so thankful we found this gem of a B&B."

"We had an amazing time. This was one of the best places that we stayed. We started feeling relaxed as soon as we pulled into the driveway. Very calm and inviting environment. Owners were amazing. We enjoyed bonfires every night, feeding the fish and gigantic turtle, seeing and listening to wildlife. The house and property are beautiful. We will be coming back again. "

"Only a couple hours away from Chicago, this home allows you to unplug and unwind. The home has everything you need, tucked inbetween farmland and the woods. We explored Shipshewana during the day, went fishing at dusk, sat by the fire when the sun went down and finished the day with a relaxing dip in the huge hot tub. It was great!"
