Thank You!
We have stayed at the Curtis-Moulton house many times. This trip, although in December with some rain, was still wonderful. The deer, the fox, the view! And we really, really appreciated that the outlet in the master bath is now working. The improvements made in the kitchen and the responsiveness of the local Vacasa staff was also appreciated. The ants were more under control and the place was cleaner than the last few times. So, again thank you for making this house available to us.

Honestly, not very good.
So upon arrival, I had a birthday cake since we were here celebrating my daughter’s 21st birthday. I left it on the counter a few hours not realizing they had issues with ants and of course it was infested with ants. We had to throw it away. Needless to say, cannot eat it at that point. Anybody staying here should be aware that this is an issue and honestly I am a property manager myself I would insist upon the owners having pest control. Another issue was the Internet service I still was working and of course the Internet was down most of the time there is no cell service pass bodega Bay for anybody who is driving and planning on staying in this area. Make sure you have good Internet service that is provided at the home. The overall feel of the home was extremely outdated. I was cold most of the time trying to run the baseboard. Heat was not adequate. The fireplace did help but when I woke up in the morning, it was 57° not what I would say comfortable. The location was good to see Ranch area is nice. The beach view was beautiful but unfortunately it was extremely windy and it was actually raining for part of the day. Honestly, we almost left the first day just based upon the Internet problem. I would not stay in this property again.

We have stayed at this property many times. We've sent the same issues to you every time and nothing has improved. The large front burner on stove doesn't work. The right front burner is crooked and impossible to cook on leaving only the two small back burners. The only electrical socket in the master bath doesn't work. The ant problem is still an issue even though we close and lock everything up tight. We know ants are an issue at Sea Ranch but also know more can be done. Additionally this time, we found the kitchen cabinets in disarray and many, many dirty dishes and utensils. Fortunately the dishwasher works well and we washed all the glassware and dishes, and rearranged the cabinets. There were only two dishtowels and many of the placemats were dirty. When we arrived the towels set out for us were damp. We got a good laugh out of the sign asking us to take our shoes off. Really? We do anyway, but that is the focus rather than cleaning the place well? We used to have other people come with us but we don't now because the two beds in the first and second bedroom are uncomfortable and falling apart. We implore the owners to please maintain the place. That's all we ask - no fancy upgrades needed just a clean house with working appliances. We still love this house but it's sad how the owners don't do basic maintenance and yet, expect us to be respectful of their property. We would appreciate a response so we know you read this.

Old School Sea Ranch Charm
The location of this house is absolutely stunning. Steps to the Bluff Trail, and far enough south that the trail isn't too heavily trafficked. Spectacular views of Black Point Beach, and a side vantage of the ceaselessly cascading breakers rolling in. The space is open and airy, very minimally furnished, just the essentials. Patio is protected from most heavy wind, making it a perfect spot to watch the sunset. Didn't even miss not having a hot tub! We'll be back.

Spectacular view, poor amenities
This house has one of the most spectacular views in Sea Ranch, thanks to Mother Nature and the original architect. Alas the property managers were unhelpful and the place is falling apart. Worst, they did not inform us before we paid $980 for two nights that the WiFi had been discontinued at the property and would be reconnected after we left. This would be fine if we didn’t have work deadlines to meet while there. Moreover the cables connecting the DirectTV were mangled and broken. They didn’t get fixed until our last night. Windows were falling out of their frames. Blind pullies were fraying and broken. Someone else’s dirty old sock sat next to the couch. The welcome binder and cards advertised great amenities, including WIFI, that did not exist. You can’t beat the view, or the quiet. But if you need amenities, services and a response from the local property manager, this may not be for you.

Wonderful getaway
We spent a quiet weekend here and enjoyed the easy access to the trails, the amazing view from the many windows and the back patio, and getting to see all the wildlife – including a family of deer!

Amazing property on the bluff
The house has a great layout, with kitchen and living room on one end and the bedrooms on the other. Very comfortable for 6 people. The kitchen is extremely well stocked, with all manner of pots and pans, even pie plates which was a bonus as we had been hoping to make a pie. The carpet and beds are dated, and are in need of replacing, though the master queen mattress was certainly acceptable. The dishwasher air gap leaked when we were there, and the property managers were very responsive and got a handyman out very quickly, and when the first repair did not work he came back right away with a permanent solution. You can’t beat the location, and all in all a great stay. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect location but some updating needed for the price
This house has one of the best views I could find in Sea Ranch to watch the waves crashing on the rocks and the sound of the surf was powerful. The house itself feels rather small but was comfortable for the two of us. Although we had heard Sea Ranch had redone their wireless for greater dependability, we had to have someone come out twice because the connection equipment wasn't correct. It was frustrating as I had planned on getting some work done and at night, to enjoy watching something on Netflix. However, they did fix it and the Vacasa property management service was exceptional. They got someone out there right away and the serviceman went above and beyond. I was super impressed. In any case, the view can't be beat and having the walking trail along the bluff right there was fantastic. Overall, I don't like the trend on VRBO in general of having one "per night" price with so many fees on fees added that it comes out at least twice as much.
