"Santa Fe Ambiance"
Tina, Rebecca, and Al will solve all of your problems. Wonderful breakfast and warmed cookies all day. Easy distance to downtown by walking. Very lovely and a real 1940's feeling in style. We have stayed in very expensive Santa Fe hotels and this location is equal in style and attention.

"Nicest hotel of our trip"
We drove all through the area, but the Hacienda in Santa Fe would be worth a trip just for the hotel. Incredibly nice in every sense, and stunning.

"A must-stay in the Heart of Santa Fe"
Being open only 5 weeks, one would expect staff to be welcoming and at their best. The staff did not disappoint. From arrival to check-in, and then throughout my stay, the staff consistently checked in with me about my stay and offered assistance at every turn. Valet parking is required. I take care of my vehicles and am often unwilling to let others at the wheel, but I had complete trust in their ability to care for my vehicle. I consider it a bargain since a free full breakfast and snack/drink hour were included. Speaking of snack/drink hour, it was more than chips, hotdogs, and nachos. We had pasta, baked potatoes, and other items from which to choose. Plus, we got 3 free drinks each evening. We ate dinner our first night there to save time after arriving around 6 PM. Since the building had been a hospital and nursing home in the past, we didn't expect the rooms to be that soundproof. However, we slept wonderfully. Our room was near the street, but we didn't hear any of the traffic. We couldn't hear others in the hallway or next door either. We were also within walking distance of the major downtown attractions and shopping, so if that's your thing, you won't be disappointed. I've stayed at other comparable hotels throughout the U.S., and this is by far the best stay ever. I hope that they maintain the same level of service and stellar accommodations in the coming years. I will definitely be returning again,

"A Spice of Variety"
The Venessie Inn is a fine turn from the sterile cookie-cutter hotels of the 'big box' high-rise franchise chains. Most friendly and cordial staff and an always smiling innkeeper. Much appreciated. Top drawer dining and food. Enjoyed it very much.

"Three busy and wonderful days"
This was our second visit to the Inn of the Anasazi. We always try to stay at Rosewood hotels because we can't resist being pampered by the always wonderful staffs, elegant ambience and fine food. No surprise -- this Inn was all of those. We packed many adventures into only three days. Highlights: a visit to Georgia O'Keefe's home at Abiqui; another outstanding out-of-town tour of the great Native American sculptor Alan Houser's studio and sculpture garden; the dance festival/feast at the Santa Clara Pueblo; visits to Truchas and Chimayo along the High Road; the Santa Fe Opera including pre-concert dinner and talk; a break from Spanish-Mexican food at the marvelous new French restaurant L'Olivier. Yes, all in three days. Alas, we didn't have time to get to Canyon Road or Museum Hill but will save those for next time.

"Pleasant surprise!"
We didn't know what to expect when we first checked into the office which was quite unassuming. But when we drove up the hill and walked through the door, we were amazed at the tasteful furnishings and spaciousness of the pueblo-style condo. Apparently, these suites are individually owned condos so we felt like it was home away from home. We loved the views and quietness from the top of Fort Marcy as well as the convenient walk to the Plaza. We would absolutely stay here again for our next visit to Sante Fe.

"Excellent except for some street noise"
Check in went well. Parking the first night was easy. The room was beautiful and had lots of nice amenities. A refrigerator, robes, excellent bedding, and a nice selection of toiletries. Street noise was a small problem -- mostly motorcycles, but they did not come by very often. The location is great. It is a short walk to all of the interesting places such as the plaza, O'Keefe museum, St Francis Cathedral, many restaurants, etc. Breakfast and afternoon tea/sherry were very good too.
