Beautiful Mediterranean Cottage on larger estate.

Built in 2016 by an architect for his parents to retire in, this guesthouse is accessory to a larger Mediterranean home, on an acre parcel. This 1,200 s.f. cottage includes all of the best amenities, with a progression of indoor to out doors paces. The cottage shares the acre property with the main residence, however it has a separate entry and driveway, and separate yard spaces. The cottage has private access to a heated saltwater pool, and spa, which is occasionally used by the main residence. Single carport with direct access to the unit, and additional parking to 2 to 3 other vehicles. The space features an indoor/outdoor room with with an adjacent secured outdoor patio. Good views of the ocean and immediate yard.

Lovely house with a view
We spent 4 nights in the very comfortable cottage. Our hosts were extremely helpful and communicative. The house was well-supplied, clean and quiet. Also, the views were amazing, both distant to the ocean and nearby to the birds at the feeder. We would love to stay here again.

We had everything we could ask for in a place to stay. So much thought and attention to detail went into designing and decorating this lovely cottage. 4 adults stayed 5 nights. The home was sparkling clean and well appointed. The cabinet had basic spices and oils. The refrig also had some basic necessities. The views were amazing...loved the sunroom! I will definitely check availability on our next Santa Barbara trip. The location was easy to find and perfect for our outings. Thank you, Tom. Beautiful guest house in Santa Barbara
The guest house is wonderful! Very comfortable and has everything you might need. The view is incredible and it’s a short drive to shopping. Great place to unwind and relax. Highly recommend!

Amazing property and hosts
We stayed here for about a month while my wife was recovering from surgery in Santa Barbara. The property is amazing and has everyone one could want especially an amazing sun room with views of the Pacific ocean and sunset, laundry, A/C, and a really sweet nook to work out of with a nice office chair and wired ethernet. The location was perfect, about 15 minutes from anything you could want to get to - restaurants, attractions, groceries, etc. The neighborhood was fun to walk in with amazing views and a good hill climbing workout! The hosts were awesome. They live next door, and provided their cell phone numbers, and were amazingly kind, responsive, and accommodating. We've stayed at VRBO/AirBnbs in the US and abroad, and this was the best property we've ever stayed at, and we'd come back in heartbeat.

A beautiful place tucked into the foothills with a comfortable outdoor space and an amazing view. Tom and Eileen were accommodating and responsive hosts. No one could be disappointed at choosing this cottage to spend time when visiting the Santa Barbara area.
