"This is a lovely spot with breathtaking views. The rooms are clean and well appointed and the fire places are easy to use and cozy. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to stay in, cook, relax play board games. It’s about 30 minutes over a country road to SLO. Take the back road for a spectacular drive through old oaks, Spanish moss and winding streams. The skyline changes from minute to minute making the view an ever changing painting of dramatic colors."

"Always enjoyable staying at Apple Farm. We were in a Trellis Court room which is very convenient for getting in and out. The room was a little small compared to newer hotels but for one night it was very nice and the location of the hotel is great if you have business at Cal Poly as we did. Our only dissapointment was finding out that the restaurant is no longer open for lunch or dinner."
