Good location, pity about the rest.Posted 22-Oct-2014
Pros: The location. It is centrally placed, close to good transport links and shopping areas.
Cons: A guest laundry is a basic requirement. They could improve the breakfast arrangement and provide a healthier range of food.
MOST staff were friendly and helpful, giving advice about getting round the city and booking the airport shuttle. Unfortunately one or two were abrupt and distant. The room was small with only one chair and no table. The air-conditioning unit was noisy. There is no guest washing machine, which is a basic requirement for travellers. We had to walk several blocks to the recommended laundromat, through a less than salubrious area. The breakfast arrangements - and the breakfast - are inadequate. A small range of items (mostly pastries) is laid out in a small room which quickly becomes congested. Having collected our food there was nowhere in our room to sit and eat it. On the last day we needed to leave our luggage until going to the airport. Because we had 4 pieces we were charged for the privilege! Apparently they allow for 3 per room. Surely for 2 people, international travellers, it's not unreasonable to have 2 cases plus 2 carry-ons - ie 4?

Great locationPosted 21-Oct-2014
Cons: Bed are tiny & short - if you're tall you're out of luck. Feet hang off the end.
Location: Perfect location to everything in Union Square.
Overall a good experience at this hotel. Great location in Union Square. Rooms are small but adequate. The double bed was tiny and short. Room was clean. Linens felt good.

Cruise cabins are bigger then this roomsPosted 20-Oct-2014
Not worth $300 a night, it's ok as last result, my room had no ac, I had to open a window and it was real noisy, couldn't sleep at all. ...... ...... .......... ............ .. ... .... ... .... ....

Great location of hotel, you are right in the shopping district so lots to see and do. You're also next to the trams (though the ques are long!). The best bit about the hotel was the location. The room was quite small compared to some of the other places we stayed but that could be usual for a city. It was nice having breakfast included (though there isn't a dining room, you eat it in the room, we didn't mind that though). The area felt safe and it was easy to get around from the hotel as there were good transport links

Nice, clean hotel close to the actionPosted 19-Oct-2014
Pros: The staff, cleanliness and the location.
Cons: Beds were uncomfortable.
We stayed at Hotel Fusion for 4 nights and I will have to say, it was a very clean hotel and the staff was excellent. The room was rather small, but we really were not in the room a whole lot. I had wished there was a comfy chair or something in the room for watching TV but there was no room for that. The bed was kind of uncomfortable, but we were so tired from sight seeing at night that it really didn't matter. They are doing some renovations right now to the lobby and it needs it...so it will be nice when its done. I would stay here again!

Great location but rooms cramped and basic with vePosted 16-Oct-2014
Check in was very late with a very terse justification about a convention checking out. Lobby is being updated but they need to prioritise this in the rooms. Strange smell on fifth floor masked with strong disinfectant odour. Airport transfer organised by concierge failed to turn up early on morning of departure leaving us scrambling for taxis. Not good.

comfortable Hotel FusionPosted 13-Oct-2014
Pros: The staff was helpful and courteous. The complimentary breakfast was nice starting promptly at 7am with lots of pastries and drinks served.
Cons: The room where the breakfast was at in the 5th floor was a bit crowded and at times too many people were in the room. Everyone was patient.
Location: Excellent location to downtown activities and walking distance to all city public transportation.
Myself and 2 others were at first apprehensive about staying at the Hotel Fusion, but we were very pleased with the hotel. Staff was helpful, the rooms were very clean, staff was willing to help when asked, room was a bit crowded, but bathroom was very spacious. We stayed in the Queen / suite room and all three of us were comfortable.
