“Marriott Value as Promised”
Everyrhing about this property was top-notch-location, spacious room, lovely bathroom and fabulous lobby. We were traveling with friends and especially appreciated the seating and attractive decor in the common areas. Close to Union Square.
“Excellent location”

“Our favorite SF Hotel”
Nice rooms, luxury bath and very attentive service.
“Close to Union Square”
The Pan Pacific is very convientely located, close to the prime shopping area, Union Square, and also to the trolley line that takes you up San Francisco's hills to the Fisherman's Warf.
“Great Hotel”
My fiancee and I loved the hotel. Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer! Everything was perfect for us, and we loved every minute of our stay, even though it is pricey we thought it was worth it.
“Outstanding Staff & Hotel”
Beautiful hotel next to Union Square. You don't have to walk far to have a great meal. This hotel is surrounded by beautiful restaurants and bars. Service was superb. We will stay here everytime we visit San Francisco.
“Simple, but not too simple”
One of the better hotels we've encountered. Room was spacious, clean, modern. It wasn't particularly "fancy" but it had a simple elegance. Staff was helpful/friendly--great location!
“Great Hotel”
Very nice hotel with excellent service, the staff was very helpful. If I return to San Francisco I will definitely be staying there again. Also, the location couldn't have been better.
“Loved it!”
I looked at a lot of hotels online before deciding on the JW Marriott and we loved it! This was our first trip to San Francisco and the employees were so helpful with every question we asked. With only one wheeled suitcase, we were able to take the BART in from SFO airport to the Powell Street Station and walk a few blocks to the JWM on Post Street. The hotel is only one block from the Powell Street cable car line, as well, so we purchased 3-day passes (which more than paid for themselves in the two days we were there, besides being SO convenient!) which were good on the cable cars, buses, and MUNI train, and rode all over the city getting on and off at will. The JWM proved to be the perfect location for us.
“Really Nice”
The JW Marriott is very nice. We arrived early but they were able to hold out baggage in a secure area until our room became available. The stay was very pleasant. The entire hotel has been redone so the rooms are all very modern and contemporary. The bed was heavenly! A few weird things.. Dont be fooled by the fancy ice bucket, you wont actually use it. There are no public ice machines located in the hotel, therefore you must flip your magic switch in order to have an attendant bring you ice. Also, the fridge like in many hotels is on a timer, dont dare touch anything in it or you will be charged after 15 seconds, I was however very pleased to find out they had extra refrigerators available for no additional cost. Just have them bring your fridge and ice at the same time! The bathrooms were very nice and all marble. Concierge was very helpful. I would say the only drawback would be the fact that there is no complimentary Wifi. We also had a problem with a somewhat expensive item we left behind in the room but the hotel claims to never have found. In the end, although dissapointing that there was some dishonesty, it is our fault for leaving it behind. Overall the hotel stay was excellent!
