“Great boutique hotel in great location”
This is a great little hotel just a couple of blocks from Union Square & a block from BART and the Powell Street Cable Car turn-table. The room was comfortable and well attired. The staff was extremely positive, hip and friendly. The neighborhood is safe and right in the middle of many restaurants, stores and close to the theatre district. For light sleepers, ask for a room which doesn't face the street. Amazingly quiet for being right in the middle of SF. Only complaint is that the walls were a little thin. The people in the room above me came in at 2am and proceeded to march around for what seemed like hours, which kept me from getting back to sleep.
“Recommend!”
I passed through on business travel and didn't spent much time at the hotel, other than to sleep, but I had a very nice experience. The front desk staff were consistently pleasant and helpful. The room was well-kept and the bed was comfortable. I'll definitely stay here again!
“I'd stay again!”
Besides the size of the room everything was great! It in a great location and the staff was beyond helpful!
“As classy as San Francisco....”
* The location is excellent, near public transportation, shops, restaurants and within walking distance to Union Square (2 blocks) and the Ferry Building at El Embarcadero (15 min.). * As a VIP Access Program Hotel, they upgraded my room from a queen bed room to a king bed comfortable room. * Room and hotel facilities in good conditions and very clean. * Very friendly and cooperative personell, always willing to give recomendations on tours, restaurants including arrengements. * If we ever go back to the city, we will stay at Abri with no regrets at all.
“Nice central city hotel”
Nice clean room. Excellent location. Request an inner room if city street sounds bother you.
“Excellent stay”
Hotel staff was friendly and accomodating. Hotel public areas and suite were well kept. Skipped one point on upkeep of the hotel for the elevator going out of service while we were there.
“Very impressed with Hotel Abri”
Excellent hotel in all aspects! Close proximity to Union Square, Westfield Center, BART, Muni and various restaurants. The staff were very helpful, out-of-their-way friendly and very accommodating. Rooms were nicely appointed, La Occitane toiletries and flatscreen TV were a nice touch.
“First trip to SF, and a great hotel”
Aside from not having the upgraded bed size upon check-in, I was extremely pleased with this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the hotel was very modern and in great condition. I was offered my choice of a room facing the street or on the inside of the hotel. I opted for the interior and it was extremely quiet, even next to the elevator. The in-room iPod dock was kind of useless, as it didn't charge my iPod or play at a loud enough volume. The business center is kind of lacking, but I never had a problem getting a computer. Breakfast would be nice, but there is complimentary coffee and tea in the mornings. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.
“Excellent stay”
Enjoyed our stay and would go back again. The Staff was excellent, Ed, Hilary and Wilfren were most helpful when it came to our needs.
“Very modern ammenities. Large flat screens, wifi, large bath and comfortable bedding.”
Original reservations were for a deluxe king. When I was e-mailed the final reservations it was changed to "shared queen." When I arrived at the hotel I questioned this and was upgraded to a suite with a deluxe king. Everyone was so professional, nice, and the room was above my expectations on all counts. I would (and have) recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to San Francisco and wants a centrally located place to stay.
