“Small room, good price”

The rooms are very small, but nice. The hotel was all you needed, and very cheap. I would stay there again!

“Cheap and Perfect”

I was a little nervous after booking this hotel because of the cheap price, but was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. It is nothing spectacular, but very clean and in an amazing location. I'd say it's a few steps up from a nice hostel in Europe, only with the privacy of a hotel. If you've been spoiled your whole life, don't go here. For everyone else, it is fine.

we booked a room ocean front at 14 th floor. while we were in bed saw the sea! awoken very pleasant! very clean room, attention to detail. staff friendly, beautiful structure centrally convenient for all activities in waikiki (shopping, rental car, bus stops, restaurants, bars, surf .....). prices honest. we recommend it strongly.

This is a no frills hotel. It is efficiently run, very clean. Small rooms so bring a close friend or spouse. Exceptional value in an exciting part of San Francisco-right in Chinatown.

“Location, location, location!”

Is this a 5-star hotel? No. Why do we keep going back? Because you can't beat the price or the location! Also, the staff is always friendly and helpful. If you like to spend a majority of your time in your hotel room, this hotel isn't for you. If your hotel is a place to crash and you like being at the entrance of China Town and within walking distance of everything, you can't beat it for the money.

My first trip to San Francisco, the staff was very helpful with directions and was able to answer all of my questions. Room was comfortable and clean, new TV in the room. Fairly quiet, excellent view of China Town. I WILL stay there again when I go back in a few months. Overall a very pleasant stay.

“Affordable, clean, great location”

This hotel is right in the middle of everything, and a great launching pad for exploring the city. Its just past one of the gates into Chinatown on the edge of Nob Hill and Chinatown. There is a Kate Spade New York, Burberry, etc and some really high end restaurants within a block and a half in case you are wondering about the neighborhood - its nice. For the price, this hotel is a great deal. Its very reasonably priced. The hotel itself is a little worn, but the rooms are clean and functional, albiet small. Beds are reasonably comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. My room was noisy, but I got a pair of ear plugs for $2 - problem solved. If you are visiting SF and on a budget, and plan to be out and about exploring, this is a great crash pad.
