“Pleasantly Surprised and Pleased”

My husband and I recently stayed at the Vintage Court Hotel for 4 nights to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. I told myself I would write a review, since I relied so heavily on reviews to chose our hotel. I can honestly say we had no complaints. The staff was friendly, the room was cozy, housekeeping came every day, the linens were clean and there were no strange stains on towels or linens. The room is small, but the bathroom size makes up for it. There is a separate vanity and that was great with two of us. Everything was in perfect working condition. Location was great and close to everything and we heard NO street noise AT ALL from the 3rd floor. We didn't partake in the wine tasting, but it looked like the other guests were enjoying themseleves immensely. I would definately reccommend this if you are looking for romance, quiet or just a nice escape from the "big" hotels.

“The Best!”

First off the wine reception was so nice! I thought it was going to be like 1 ounce of white and red each. But it's basically unlimited wine for an hour each day, and it's good wine too! It makes everyone so relaxed and much more social, you can get great tips from the staff as well! The location was great. Right in the middle of union square and nob hill and between tons of transportation. The room was roomy enough and very clean/comfortable. Breakfast was just enough to get the day started. Of course you should try Sears Fine foods (down the street on Powell) at lease once for a hearty good American Breakfast or brunch.

Friendly, helpful staff. Good experience for the "not so big price" we paid. Would definitely stay again!

“Reliabale hotel in good location”

Their morning breakfast and evening wine tasting are nice complimentary services. Their lobby with its gas fireplace makes for a cozy place to sit and read or visit with friends. The location just up from Union Square and 1/2 block from the cable car stop is good for tourists. As a frequent business and pleasure traveler to San Francisco I usually look to the Vintage Court as one of my top three hotels to stay at.

Very well kept older hotel in the heart of San Francisco. Loved the wine reception every evening. Great shopping, walking and sight seeing at your doorstep. Book in advance for the best price.

“Great Place to Stay”

We loved the location! We walked a lot and it was so close to Union Square, the cable car stop, Chinatown was a couple blocks away. It was clean. Most of the staff were extremely friendly. The nightly wine reception was a great bonus!

“Great location!”

Great location and close to cable cart (on the corner)was a must! Spacious charming room. Bathroom a bit small but clean. Elegant gathering area for continental breakfast and we did get a chance to go to their daily evening wine reception which was a nice touch...

“Friendly, clean, in great location”

We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and got to meet other guests at the wine tasting each evening. The location is great, just two blocks from Chinatown and four blocks from Union Square. We would definitely return to this hotel.
