“A nice hotel”
I have been to San Fran many times and have stayed a various hotels including the Sir Francis Drake which is about a block down the hill from this hotel. I loved the fact that the trolley stopped extremely close to the hotel. The staff was extremely helpful. As a female that was traveling alone, I felt comfortable and safe. I would stay at this hotel again for sure!
“OK for the price”
Older hotel, with remodeled rooms. Main downside of my room was a sort of a sour smell, but it was not unbearable or enough for me to ask for a different room. I would probably go back if the price was the same. Fairly convenient access to downtown and convention center area.
“Union Square Bargain”
The Vintage Court on Bush Street is well located to restaurants, shopping and transportation. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well maintained. While it is an older hotel, it is vey comfortable. I stay here whenever I am in San Francisco. The common belief that hotels in San Francisco are expensive is not true.
“Smell”
The hotel has a strange smell all the time , the room was so noisy, It was a machine all the time on producing the sound. The people that work in the hotel were nice.
“Had a great stay in a great location”
We wanted a location close to Union Square and this was perfect. Lots of good restaraunts within walking distance and it was just up the hill to the cable cars. The hotel was older like we had read in some reviews before we got there, but it was kept up well. The 5:00pm wine tasting was a nice addition. I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends. Might not bring kids here, but other than that go for it!
“pretty good”
close to a cable car line.
“Vintage Court”
This hotel was a very old building that smelled like moth balls. The room was so small you would bump into the furniture everywhere you turned. The shower curtain had mildew on it and was discolored. Would not stay there again.........
“Will return”
I have stayed at the Executive Hotel Vintage Court a number of times in the past. It's a good location. This last visit was for nine nights. The room I was initially given was small and dark. Knowing there are better rooms in the hotel (based on previous visits) but also knowing that a large conference had every room in town booked, I asked to be moved once the conference was over. This was done. The room I had for the remainder of my visit was nice, bright and airy. I appreciate the staff's willingness to accommodate me.
“Great Location!”
Vintage Court is a nice hotel for the budget traveler and is convenient to all the sites (2 blocks from Union Square, 2 blocks from the Chinatown gate/entrance, a block or two up to the top of Nob Hill/Grace Cathedral, and only about a mile or mile and a half to Fisherman's Wharf and the Ferry Building). The nightly complimentary wine reception was a nice touch, although I was only able to make it 2 of the 4 nights of my stay. There are tons of great restaurants to choose from within walking distance as well. I recommend Uncle Vito's just across the street (if you go about 6ish, you'll might see the Brown Twins, they are a San Fran icon), Utopia Cafe and in Chinatown for their clay rice pots, and at Pier 1 and 1/2, next to the Ferry Building, La Mar for Peruvian cocktails (Pisco sours are great) and ceviche. Also, the "fast food" seafood shacks lined up together at Fisherman's Wharf.
“Great location”
Friendly service and really good value relative to its location. Seconds away from Union Square and the major shopping area. Everything within walking distance. Really friendly staff. Nice idea of a wine reception in the evening. Clean tidy and quiet. For a few days - absolutely perfect.
