“convenient and comfortable”

rooms were comfortable and aesthetically done ; bathroom tap leaked; free parking was a boon; free breakfast was unimpressive

“Price is right”

For a cheap, quick, but clean stay in downtown San Francisco, this is the place.

“Embassy hotel: bon rapport qualité-prix”

Hotel très propre, correctement rénové et entretenu malgré son ancienneté. Quartier un peu délabré, faune étrange dans les rues mais nous n'avons eu aucun souci.

“Not as bad as you might think”

The hotel, from the outside, appears as though you would be dissatisfied with the inside. However, the rooms were actually very pleasant. For the price, it's a good deal. Especially with the free parking.

“Second Visit”

We enjoyed the Embassy so much the first time we came several months ago--and couldn't find another hotel offering the same beautiful furnishings, proximity to places we wanted to go; agreeable price; and free parking--that we went again. Both times we enjoyed how walkable it was to the SF Opera and Clovis Bistro. (The first time we also very much enjoyed Brenda's for breakfast and Blue Muse for the best bartender in a long time.) This time it was just as good--except that our radiator started making noise--lots of noise--at about 3 in the morning. Kept us up, astounded and giggling, for a while, Fortunately we didn't have to go to work the next day, only drive down the coast! 'Would still go again, but would ask at the desk about the radiator.

“Close to convention center and free parking!”

When we first check in i was a bit frightened but upon inspection everything was fine. the room was pig and spacious, the bathroom had pink tile. i though it was very cute and clean. staff was very helpful and polite. over all this was a great hotel for a night. The only thing that upset me was there was no water in the soda machine (located in the basement), but that is no ones falt.

“A nice place to stay”

This hotel is clean, comfortable and very reasonable. It has free parking which may be limited but is rare in the city. No bells and whistles like a big TV or coffeemaker in the room but it was affordable. Staff was very nice & helpful.
