"Very large spacious house. Well set up and a good place to hang out with a bunch of people with ready access to the beach. Only things missing are a few more trash baskets, perhaps a bit more instructions in a book--took me some minutes to figure out how to turn the lights on and off in kitchen and living room. But these are minor bugs. Basically the place lived up to our expectations--which were high!"

"I stayed here for 2 weeks between leases and couldn't have made a better choice. I love Camp Ellis and this was the best location for walking to the beaches, jetty, and fishing pier. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment was very clean. The kitchen had everything that I needed. I live in Portland now, but I may come back some time just to enjoy the Camp Ellis atmosphere. "The only thing we needed to bring was our grooming tools and clothes! The place had it ALL! I'm talking pots and utencils, shampoo and conditioner, lots of bedding and blankets. The space was amazing! At one point there were 8 of us in the kitchen sitting around and it didn't feel cramped at all. The deck is the best part. Lots of seating and RIGHT on the beach for easy access to sand and water. It was one of the better stays we've had at the ocean."

"We had a great time at the river bend. The house was missing some basics but it is close to hannafords where we were able to get everything we needed (garbage bags, dish soap, dishwasher packs). Fairly close to downtown (about a mile) and we were able to walk. Would stay here again."
