“Will most definitely stay here again!”

The hotel was clean and beautiful. The staff was friendly, courteous, and very helpful. One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. Also, I am a food snob and the continental breakfast was surprisingly very good.

Very hospitable stay, lovely staff, lovely venue, everything was just perfect! Can't beat 24 hour coffee in lobby, breakfast buffet, Sebago micro brewery attached to the hotel too! We'll take Hampton over Hilton every time!

“wonderful service and good value”

Location is good, just a block from the waterfront and a comfortable stroll from Portland's tourist area. Staff were amongst the most welcoming and helpful I have experienced on four continents - they could not have done more to facilitate our stay. Very clean, well supplied with good quality furnishings in a very pleasing but restrained, contemporary style. Could not have been more pleased with the experience.

“comfortable and convenient”

Convenient to walking around downtown Portland and all the shopping and dining. The hotel staff were very good, prompt and pleasant. The only drawback was our room overlooked all the roof vents/fans to the building, so I wasn't interested in opening the curtain. Since we weren't there for the view from the room, but for the proximity to downtown, it didn't matter too much.

“Great Hotel at waterfront in Portland Maine”

Place is brand new as of August 2011. They have a small heated pool but no spa. Work out room is perfect for a simple workout. The business center is first rate and the WIFI is free. You can print to the wifi network and go to the center, enter a code and get your printed material -- nice!

“Definitely recommend!”

This hotel is new, so everything was clean and sparkling. The fitness room is well equipped, breakfast was great - not just cereal! All the staff were very nice and very helpful. Room was comfortable - nice big shower and big bed. We ended up parking in the ocean gateway garage just up the street for $25 rather than parking at the hotel for more $$. Regardless- it's close (walking distance) to everything in the Old Port and we had a great weekend!

Brand new, great location,well run. Nice brewpub with direct access on the first floor. My only quibble is that they charge $15 a night to park. This might be posted somewhere but I didn't see it.

Great location. Very comfortable room. Friendly service. One can count on consistency from hotel to hotel.

“My lovely Maine Vacation”

We got there early in the morning and even though check in was at 4.00pm our room was ready for us. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, a wide variety to choose from. The shuttle was available to take you anywhere local. They took us back to the airport. The room was so comfortable, we had two double beds with crisp white linens. The bathroom was spacious and nice fluffy towels and all available toiletries. We had a corner room on the 4th level with a nice view of the harbor. Our stay at the hotel was very nice. Will stay there on my next visit to Maine.

We were so pleased with the hotel. The location was amazing and the amenities were fantastic. We will definitely be staying here again.
