“Great place!”
We stayed here for a quick "getaway" weekend. It was terrific! The hotel was beautiful, and the breakfast buffet very nice (only complaint---coffee was REALLY strong and bitter). Within easy walking distance of all of Old Port and some amazing restaurants---we will definitely stay here again when we return to Portland!
“Old Port Gem”
We have been to Portland many times but this was only our second overnight. This hotel was in an excellent location and the price was more than fair for what we got. The staff was very accomodating. I hate to pay the fee to park but the valet services were excellent. The pool is small and there is a "whirlpool" not a jacuzzi so now I know the difference, but it was adequate. Definately request a room in the front because the view and "people watching" from the large window onto Commercial Street was great. Fridge in the room was convenient as there are so many places to dine within walking distance and wanted to take the "doggie" bag. Bar is quaint and there is anything you could want within the neighborhood. Will stay here everytime we want some time in the "Old Port".
“Would make a return visit”
Hotel staff were helpful and very nice. Excellent valet service and they were very knowledgeable about the area and were able to provide directions. Hotel near the waterfront, close to excellent restaurants, and in the Old Port neighborhood. View from our room was to the parking lot and we could not see the waterfront. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back to this hotel.
“Perfect place for a perfect getaway”
Not only are the rooms spacious, clean and comfortable, the service is amazing and the location is perfect once you walk out everything there is in Portland to explore is within walking distance. I recommend this hotel to anyone considering Portland to getaway!
“Great location, clean, comfortable”
Check in was easy. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of shops, restaurants , waterfront, etc. Only stayed one night so did not use or seek out any of hotel amenities.Would go back,
