"We spent nearly two weeks in this nice little cabin. Everything was very comfortable and the surroundings were beautiful. There is a very small kitchen, so do not expect to do large gourmet meals, but who wants to do that on vacation anyway? There are at least two grocery stores within a couple of miles, and it was easy to find quick to prepare food. The cabin is very comfortable, but do be aware that there are some very steep stairs. There’s a very nice little woodstove that came in handy...

"We had a great stay in Hauptmannsberg near Aidenbach in the lovingly refurbished farmhouse. Although the house was a little more remote than we expected, we were able to visit nearby towns and cities easily. The neighbors were very nice. "We spent our girls trip here. It was a beautiful property that lent itself well to a trip with multiple people. The bedrooms are all on different floors and each floor has a bathroom. The kitchen was lovely to cook in and had all the things we needed and some nice touches we enjoyed. The view was stunning. The only warning I'd give is to bring a laptop if you plan on using the entertainment center."
