"Very nice boutique hotel in a trendy part of town"
We were pleasantly surprised by this great little boutique hotel. I called ahead to ask for a room that did not face the alley and we were accommodated very nicely. A large wedding party had taken place on the weekend just prior to our Sunday arrival and we needed to wait for some time to get into our room. As a result we were given an upgrade to really elegant room/suite overlooking street fronting the hotel. Excellent stay.

Hallways were a little stinky, boyfriend said that's how hotel's smell though. Room was nice and no funky smell in it. Bed was comfortable. I have low standards so I loved the place but my mom probably wouldn't of stayed, so I guess it depends on how much of a priss you are.

I had changed rooms with no problems. Because of renovations going on, there was limited parking near the first room I was assigned. The only disappointment was the remote for the TV did not work and it took a couple of hours to get it replaced. Staff was friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay ok. I did not get to take advantage of the breakfast because I had to hit the road, but I'm sure it was good.

It's deep in the ghetto. It's more of a motel really. Pretty sure the family running it lives there. There is bulletproof glass between you and the staff. I've been to shady tourist motels in Brooklyn better than this place. The furniture is disgusting and old. The bathroom is unbearable. Usually smoking rooms in hotels aren't a problem, 1. because you can choose a non smoking one and 2. because the air flow is better. I can't say that for this place. The peephole in the door was blocked out. Just all around very uncomfortable to stay in. Not worth your money. They're very unprofessional. They seem like nice people but strictly business, I hated this place.
