We stayed here on two separate occasions and both times it was very good. Rooms are comfortable, staff are helpful. "The location is convenient and there are frequent buses to the nearby bus stop, so transportation is stress-free. The owner and staff speak English well and are very kind. They provided me with maps to show me many tourist spots and delicious restaurants, and assisted me in making my stay more fulfilling. When you go there for the first time, it is difficult to find the location from the outside due to the shutters, but it is located exactly as shown on the map and has a small nameplate....

The lock on the door, although it did lock, was a bit difficult and frustrating. However, Kandy City stay does get high marks for staff and their local tours.
