"It was an absolute pleasure to stay there. It's obvious that so much love and attention goes into the place. It's one of my favorite places that I have stayed."

"It was beautiful, and clean. The staff was very friendly and loved the complimentary coffee and baked goods. The design of the room was great. Very safe neighborhood and a solid 15 minute walk into the waterfront area. I would definitely stay here again."

"Historic, but updated and well-maintained property. Great restaurant with excellent breakfast. Appreciated the added touch of providing the history of the facility and surrounding area. Lovely lakefront site with seating around the property to enjoy the view. The only slight minus was that my room in the southwind building was right next to the road, but very little traffic at night, so not a big issue. Would probably select a different room next time."
