"Nice hotel with nice setting and surrounding views"
I went with my son and we both had a beautiful time.. The rooms are cosy and feel a bit like a nice mix of western natural earth tone colors .. We had a window overlooking the dessert.. We loved looking from the balcony. The staff are friendly and help creat a cosy atmosphere .. We eat at the hotel restaurant and found the staff friendly .. Morning walks in the neighborhoods around the hotel are nice .. Nice homes and architecture

"Expedia customer"
The hotel was great and we got a great deal through expedia but be warned, many properties resent expedia customers. They are reluctant to make any accommodations for you, and changing your dates is not allowable when booked by a third party

"Old Scottsdale visit"
Would stay here again. No negatives. Convenient location. Reasonable rates, food was included and good. Comfortable rooms. I had a business appointment all day, my wife didn't complain. An enormous first rate regional shopping center is a few blocks away that has everything.

"Very convenient in downtown Phoenix"
Front desk was very helpful. We were a little early for check in, they offered to hold our baggage in the mean time and gave us info and tips on the whereabouts. Very friendly and helpful. I was there only for a concert, so I only stayed a night, but had a very good rest as the block is quiet.

"In the heart of Old Town"
The Saguaro is conveniently located to all that Old Town Scottsdale has to offer - restaurants, the Performing Arts Center, art galleries, shopping malls - and everything is in walking distance. The restaurant on site is convenient and lives up to its gourmet advertisement. The decor reminded me of the 1970s with some European influence. It was colorful and artsy, which may or not be your taste, but made it feel unique rather than ordinary as you would find at a chain hotel. Our room was clean and very comfortable. It was a pleasure to come back to the room after a hot day in the sun. There are two pools. One is more lively and even had music playing on the weekends which made it feel like a party atmosphere. The other is designated as the "calm" pool for those who wish to relax in a quieter setting. There were plenty of lounge chairs available as well as pool towels provided and pool side refreshment service available. Overall, I would highly recommend staying at the Saguaro if you want a combination of convenience, value and comfort.
