“hmarathon weekend”

Booked the hotel for the marathon weekend. It was north of the city so it would be far from any I-95 traffic coming into and out of the marathon area. 15+min drive into the city at 6am in the morning w/ no traffic at all. The parking area was a little sketchy because it wasn't brightly lit. I parked closer to the front of the building when I could. The hotel is between a couple of shopping malls and some restaurants so it was slightly convenient. I said slightly because although it was within walking distance, driving there would take 10x longer (confusing highway). The gym was average and looked clean. The pool water looked a little dirty but swimmable. The rooms were clean and came with a free small bottle of poland spring! The room did have a flat screen tv but no HD channels. Extended check out was granted until 1pm! I needed it after that half marathon! I thought breakfast came with the hotel but it didn't. The elevator is one of the slowest you will ever use. Take the stairs down the hall instead.

“Very Helpful”

The staff of this hotel could not do enough for us. They were very friendly and helpful. The remodel was well done for a business hotel. The restaurant was a little pricey, but there are numerous restaurants nearby. The rooms are good size, clean, well appointed for the business traveler including free computer wifi. Nice relaxing loby. Casual and frinedly bar off lobby.

“Good Deal for Price”

The room was comfortable and clean. Desk/Work Area was spacious. A little disappointed that the pool was closed, but they did offer the local YMCA free of charge to swim.

“Nice place to stay for comfortable room”

We stayed four nights in two rooms and found the rooms to be very comfortable and clean. Each room had two queen beds. The beds and linens were very nice. The hotel is non-smoking -- a plus. Apart from the rooms, we did not use other hotel services. The hotel is located in a more suburban area of Philadelphia; thus, the drive into the downtown area averaged 45 minutes depending on traffic.

“Ideal location”

We stayed here because we were going to Sesame Place. The location was wonderful. Quick drive to Sesame, and short trip into the city to do something other than Sesame. Staff was very pleasant. One morning at breakfast, someone even brought my little guy balloons! Having said that, this hotel was otherwise just adequate. As others have said, the AC is loud, the hallways dark, and our in room fridge make a constant clicking noise. I thought the room on the whole was small. Although it was recently renovated, it seems that they could use another renovation already.

Great venue if you have a large group. Walking distance to small shopping areas and dining. Hotel staff was very pleasant and welcoming.

“Hotel Experience”

Although the cosmetics of this hotel left a bit to be desired, th ebed was the MOST confortabled bed I have ever slept on in a hotel! And with over 5 years sleeping in hotels for work reasons, this is something rather special! The LCD TV in the room was great, altough the reception left a bit to be desired as well, and walking around one got a feeling of a hotel in which the maids went on vacation for 4 weeks, and they were due back anytime now! But the staff were as helpful as one could wish them to be. All in all not a bad experience, but with some cosmetic upgrades this could be a great hotel to stay in.

Fine place to work and get a good night sleep in NorthEast Philadelphia. Very freindly and helpful staff. Adequate comfortable rooms.

“I would return and suggest it to other people”

Our stay was great. The only complaint was that we were to have a King Room and we received a room with 2 double beds. We did not complain because of the price and the motel seemed to be very full. Check out in the morning was kind of slow, but other than that we had no problems.
